Not so much."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/youtube-remove-abortion-videos-complains\/\">previously reported<\/a> by Live Action News, Slate tech writer April Glaser recently\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/slate.com\/technology\/2018\/12\/youtube-search-abortion-results-pro-life.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> that Live Action&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abortion Procedures<\/a> videos are inaccurate. She stated that she\u00a0&#8220;emailed YouTube&#8230; asking why anti-abortion videos saturated the search results for &#8216;abortion&#8217; and if the platform thought accurate, health-focused information had a place there.&#8221; However, Glaser showed no indications of concern about the accuracy of any videos from pro-abortion organizations. If Glaser were truly as concerned about the &#8220;more than\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arstechnica.com\/gaming\/2018\/05\/despite-controversies-1-8-billion-users-log-in-to-youtube-each-month\/\">1.8 billion<\/a>\u00a0people look for information on YouTube every month&#8221; as she claims, perhaps the tech writer should have scrutinized videos created by Planned Parenthood, which has been caught in a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthoods-many-abuses-reasons-defund-abortion-corporation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abuses<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/aiding-abusers-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">covering child sexual abuse<\/a>, and was most recently outed by the New York Times for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/report-planned-parenthood-discriminated-pregnant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discriminating<\/a> against its own pregnant employees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-harvests-body-parts-babies-lying-women-fetal-development\/\">Planned Parenthood lies to women about fetal development while harvesting fetal body parts<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Glaser&#8217;s headline &#8212; using the typical pro-abortion way of referring to pro-lifers as &#8220;anti-abortion&#8221; &#8212; accuses pro-lifers of showing women &#8220;exactly what [they] want them to see&#8221; about abortion. But this describes abortion industry leader Planned Parenthood far more accurately, as the abortion giant <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-harvests-body-parts-babies-lying-women-fetal-development\/\">lies to women<\/a> and has even <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-has-history-of-coercing-women-to-abort\/\">coerced<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/woman-said-coerced-abortions-planned-parenthood\/\">them<\/a> into abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Qx-1VsTrFlk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medication abortion<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L0OEDPtn-QM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in-clinic abortion<\/a> videos <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-cartoon-draws-unborn-baby-as-a-dot-but-heres-the-truth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refer<\/a> to the child in the womb as &#8220;the pregnancy&#8221; and depict the growing human life as a dot (image below, left) even though,\u00a0in a separate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/learn\/pregnancy\/pregnancy-month-by-month\/what-happens-second-month-pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">section<\/a> of its own website (image below, right) the abortion corporation notes that from 7 to 8 weeks&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The heart has formed.<\/li>\n<li>Webbed fingers and toes develop.<\/li>\n<li>The arms bend at the elbows.<\/li>\n<li>External ears, eyes, eyelids, liver, and upper lip begin forming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Planned Parenthood&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Qx-1VsTrFlk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medication abortion<\/a>\u00a0video also doesn&#8217;t mention potential serious complications, despite the fact that, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/fda-abortion-pill-deaths-hospitalizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to the FDA<\/a>, the abortion pill regimen has caused the deaths of nearly two dozen women and the hospitalization of thousands more.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_193374\" style=\"width: 1269px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-193374\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-193374\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy.jpg\" alt=\"Image: Planned Parenthood in clinic abortion shows baby as dot v 7 to 8 week pregnancy\" width=\"1259\" height=\"679\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy.jpg 1259w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy-768x414.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy-700x378.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Planned-Parenthood-in-clinic-abortion-shows-baby-as-dot-v-7-to-8-week-pregnancy-500x270.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1259px) 100vw, 1259px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-193374\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Planned Parenthood in clinic abortion shows baby as dot v 7 to 8 week pregnancy<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Instead, Glaser goes after pro-life videos, specifically ones involving former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino, whose name she misspelled as &#8220;Antony.&#8221; Dr. Levatino is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with 40 years of medical experience who has taught as associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical Center. In the early part of his career, he committed over 1,200 abortions.<\/p>\n<p>In what in what appears to be abortion activism masquerading as journalism, Glaser then sets her sights on Live Action&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abortion Procedures<\/a> videos, writing:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>&#8230;[I]n addition to several misleading animations that showed a fetus that looks like a sentient child in the uterus&#8230; The animation showing an abortion in the first trimester depicts a fetus with extended arms and legs and fully formed facial features, but neglects to note that, according to the\u00a0Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about two-thirds of first-trimester abortions happen within the first eight weeks of the pregnancy, when according to\u00a0the Mayo Clinic, the embryo has formed buds and is only about a half-inch long.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But she&#8217;s wrong; the videos aren&#8217;t misleading. Two of the videos focus on first trimester abortions, both narrated by Dr. Levatino. Here&#8217;s the one on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion pill<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/abortion-pill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medical abortion procedure<\/a> video states, &#8220;This is a procedure in which a mother swallows pills in order to terminate her baby, and it is performed <strong>up to the tenth week of pregnancy<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>From the screenshot below, it can be seen that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/abortion-pill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> accurately depicts an image of a baby at eight weeks gestation (left image, below), the same age Glaser seemed to suggest was not mentioned in the videos. abortion, which Dr. Levatino says is &#8220;used typically from <strong>five to thirteen weeks of pregnancy<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5THDmys8z30\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; but now, because one tech writer decided she didn&#8217;t like looking at pro-life videos, women seeking truthful information about abortion will be forced to comb through inaccurate pro-abortion videos &#8212; like the Planned Parenthood videos mentioned above &#8212;\u00a0to find it.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps that was the goal all along.<\/p>\n<h6>Editor&#8217;s Note: FDA has received reports of serious adverse events in women who took mifepristone. As of June 30, 2021, there were reports of 26 deaths of women associated with mifepristone since the product was approved in September 2000, including two cases of ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy located outside the womb, such as in the fallopian tubes) resulting in death; and several cases of severe systemic infection (also called sepsis), including some that were fatal. The adverse events cannot with certainty be causally attributed to mifepristone because of concurrent use of other drugs, other medical or surgical treatments, co-existing medical conditions, and information gaps about patient health status and clinical management of the patient.
