Yet that&#8217;s exactly what NARAL just did, in a ghoulish tweet <a href=\"https:\/\/twitchy.com\/dougp-3137\/2018\/12\/24\/yikes-naral-pushes-ghoulish-and-depraved-idea-of-what-constitutes-an-act-of-love\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calling abortion &#8220;an act of love.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Just two days before Christmas, the pro-abortion advocacy organization tweeted a link to an article in which an abortionist argued that choosing to have an abortion can be an act of love.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/naral-attempt-celebrate-abortion-backfires\/\">NARAL\u2019s attempt to \u2018celebrate\u2019 dads who support abortion backfires<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cChoosing when to parent is an act of love. For my patients that were already parenting, I feel the deep love they had both for the children they had and for the pregnancies they were ending. Choosing an abortion is an act of love.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dr_moayedi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@dr_moayedi<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hKDcii71tW\">https:\/\/t.co\/hKDcii71tW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NARAL (@NARAL) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NARAL\/status\/1076942273949118465?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 23, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The link NARAL promoted is to <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/ghazaleh-moayedi-killing-children-love\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an op-ed<\/a> from Ghazaleh Moayedi, an abortionist practicing in Hawaii. Published around Mother&#8217;s Day, the article lamented how no one celebrated abortion on the holiday dedicated to mothers and their children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>There is no Mother\u2019s Day card to celebrate abortion. There are Mother\u2019s Day cards to celebrate giving hugs, wiping noses, and kissing boo-boos\u2014actions that are seen as the core of how a mother expresses love for her children. For my patients who were not parents, and did not want to be at that moment, or who never want to be a parent, I recognize their abortions as an act of intentional motherhood. Choosing when to parent is an act of love. For my patients that were already parenting, I feel the deep love they had both for the children they had and for the pregnancies they were ending. Choosing an abortion is an act of love.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Moayedi&#8217;s column was controversial when it was published in May, and it&#8217;s no less controversial as NARAL decided to promote it just in time for Christmas. People wasted no time firing back at the abortion chain:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Why would you love a pregnancy if there was not the realization of a human life that was ending?<\/p>\n<p>Choosing to parent when you don\u2019t want to or are scared to is an act of love.
