In the post, she spoke of her love for her aborted baby, and how her living children would have loved their new baby brother or sister, but chose to abort because &#8220;we&#8217;re going through a lot&#8221; and &#8220;you deserved all the love in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/?attachment_id=192644\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-192644\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-192644\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/original-post_censored.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"695\" height=\"721\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The image was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SaveTinyHumans\/posts\/2296403200590801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared by pro-life advocate Laura Klassen<\/a>. Many people reacted with shock and dismay, but others pushed back against the idea that less-than-ideal circumstances mean abortion is necessary. Several mothers chimed in to share their stories of unplanned pregnancies, and their decision to choose life anyway &#8212; and how they live with love and happiness instead of grief and regret.<\/p>\n<p>One mom said that the father of her baby girl wanted her to have an abortion; she refused, and called it the &#8220;best choice&#8221; she ever made.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/?attachment_id=192645\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-192645\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-192645\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/comment-1_censored.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"714\" height=\"481\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another mom was experiencing a debilitating bout of MS &#8212; multiple sclerosis &#8212; when she got pregnant for the third time. But she chose life anyway, and her symptoms improved with pregnancy. She&#8217;s also the happy mom of a beautiful little girl.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/?attachment_id=192646\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-192646\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-192646\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/comment-2_censored.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"710\" height=\"518\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A third mom explained how they were struggling with finances when she got pregnant. She wisely pointed out that an unplanned pregnancy does not have to equal a life in crisis forever. &#8220;Circumstances are temporary. Abortion is permanent,&#8221; she wrote. &#8220;Your situation can always improve. But you can never get your child back.&#8221; She now calls that boy her little sunshine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/?attachment_id=192647\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-192647\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-192647\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/comment-3_censored.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"705\" height=\"618\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another mom admitted that it has been difficult adjusting to a third child, but also swore that abortion would never have been an option for her.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/?attachment_id=192648\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-192648\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-192648\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/comment-4_censored.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"709\" height=\"464\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These stories &#8212; and that of the original post that went viral &#8212; show the inherent failure of abortion to address the issues women face.<\/p>\n<p>At one time, feminists sought to improve the circumstances pressed upon women, so they did not feel compelled to have abortions; after all, many mothers feel they truly do not have any other choice. They face coercion or pressure from people around them, they are scared they cannot afford a child, they feel they have to choose between their baby and their education or career.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion does nothing to address those circumstances, and allows a culture that is unfriendly to mothers and children to continue to thrive.
