But this teacher isn&#8217;t the only example:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">To be pro-life is to support and \u201cmake room\u201d for pregnant women in our communities and for young mothers struggling to care for their little ones. We should reassure women that ALL their babies are welcome. That is why I love this video so much! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/s64l9CYhY5\">pic.twitter.com\/s64l9CYhY5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Obianuju Ekeocha (@obianuju) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/obianuju\/status\/1056648582768611328?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, married Savannah State University student Jarquita Arrington <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/professor-support-women-mothers-college\/\">was caught off guard<\/a> when her husband had to work late on her first day of class. Not knowing what to do, she told her professor &#8212; who told her to bring her son to class. The professor held Jarquita&#8217;s seven-month-old son so she could take notes.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, single mother and college student Morgan King didn&#8217;t know what to do when she couldn&#8217;t find childcare for her three-month-old daughter. Her professor <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/college-professors-kind-response-to-students-absence-goes-viral\/\">wrote to her<\/a>, saying that anytime she might find herself in that situation, to &#8220;feel free to BRING HER with you to class. I would be absolutely delighted to hold her while I teach, so that you can still pay attention to the class and take notes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/fda-abortion-pill-medical-supervision\/\">READ: <em>Abortion groups want FDA to allow abortion pill use without medical supervision<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While most college campuses aren&#8217;t equipped to deal with students who are also parents , in our changing world, it isn&#8217;t unusual for a high school or college-aged student to become parents. While pro-abortion groups are <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-abortion-pill-umass\/\">working<\/a> toward the abortion pill <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-pill-california-college-campuses\/\">being made<\/a> readily <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/ca-gov-votes-abortion-pill-bill\/\">available<\/a> on certain campuses, on-campus options for students who want to choose life are scarce. Perhaps as colleges spend money to build larger sports facilities and other things to draw future students to campus, an investment could be made in the lives of pregnant and parenting students by offering childcare on campus, along with other support services for expectant parents and their children. Students and professors dedicated to helping pregnant and parenting students will be the ones to make the difference &#8212; in fact, it is evident from the video above that they already are.<\/p>\n<p>As Culture of Life Africa&#8217;s Obianuju Ekeocha noted in her tweet above, &#8220;To be pro-life is to support and &#8216;make room&#8217; for pregnant women in our communities and for young mothers struggling to care for their little ones.
