Taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood is seeking to hire staff to push for activist, pro-abortion judges in the hopes that abortion without restrictions will be upheld at any cost. Though the American public holds an unfavorable view<\/a> of abortion on demand, Planned Parenthood has looked to the courts to protect abortion since the Supreme Court\u00a0legalized it<\/a> nationwide in 1973. Now, the nation’s largest abortion business sees cracks developing in that protective wall.<\/p>\n

Three weeks ago, during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh, Planned Parenthood posted a job opening for a Judicial Nominations Director. Could this indicate that the abortion corporation is worried?<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood Federation of America posted this ad\u00a0to its\u00a0LinkedIn page<\/a>, Indeed.com<\/a>, and Daybook jobs<\/a>. It reads, “Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a dynamic and effective Director, Judicial Nominations who will report to the National Director of Legislative Affairs in the Office of the Vice President of Policy and Government Relations.”\u00a0That person, according to LinkedIn<\/a>, happens to be Dana Singiser<\/a>, who was added to PPFA\u2019s team while working in the Obama White House in 2011. According to the\u00a0announcement<\/a>, Singiser is deeply entrenched in Democrat party politics.<\/p>\n

Notice that the job posting doesn’t mention abortion; however, just as in the case of Brett Kavanaugh, that’s what judicial fights are really about for Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

What exactly will a\u00a0Judicial Nominations Director do for Planned Parenthood<\/a>?<\/p>\n

According to the posting, “The Director will… be responsible for executing a strategic, intense campaign that educates members of the Senate on the harmful records of nominees<\/strong>, elevates for Planned Parenthood supporters and affiliates what is at stake for reproductive health and rights.”<\/p>\n

In addition, Planned Parenthood’s Judicial Nominations Director will be responsible to “[l]ead in-depth research in consultation with Litigation & Law including review and analysis of nominee\u2019s case law and writings; interrogation of nominee\u2019s personal and professional beliefs, associations, and memberships; as well as general opposition research in order to identify each nominee\u2019s vulnerabilities and be able to drive a cohesive national narrative that informs in-state target Senator campaigns.”<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood\u00a0masquerades<\/a>\u00a0as a\u00a0healthcare organization<\/a>;\u00a0yet, as Live Action News has\u00a0previously<\/a> reported, the organization\u2019s former CEO, Cecile Richards, openly stated that it aimed to be “the largest kick-butt political organization.”<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood’s own\u00a0figures<\/a>\u00a0indicate that while\u00a0profitable<\/a>\u00a0abortions are on a steady decline nationally, it holds nearly 35 percent<\/strong> of the abortion market share.<\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0almost every year<\/a>\u00a0since 2000, Planned Parenthood\u2019s revenue has exceeded its expenses by\u00a0tens of\u00a0millions<\/em>\u00a0of dollars (yearly surpluses range from $12.2 million in 2001\u00a0to a high of $155.5 million in 2010). And yet, it still receives\u00a0half a billion<\/em> dollars from taxpayers annually.<\/p>\n

To help maintain its growing abortion market share and tax funding, Planned Parenthood’s Judicial Nominations Director will work to:<\/p>\n

  • [C]reate a clear path for defeat and delay of targeted nominations.<\/li>\n
  • [E]xecute in-state 360 campaigns that hold Senators accountable for appointing judges that value and protect access to abortion.<\/li>\n
  • Create grassroots strategies that build movement and leverage the Planned Parenthood base to link the importance of judicial nomination fights to the security of the issues we value.<\/li>\n
  • Develop tactics that tie harmful nominees to cross-movement issues, to the overall Trump agenda, and to the consequences of lifetime appointments of extremist judges to the future of progressive rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This organization’s idea of a “harmful nominee” would be any judicial originalist who vows to look at the case and judge the merits against the original intent of the U.S. Constitution rather than some perceived right, like abortion on demand, not stated in the document.<\/p>\n

    Planned Parenthood receives<\/a> over $500 million dollars a year from taxpayers, yet despite its\u00a0dwindling<\/a> health services and customer base, it is invested in placing radical activists on the court who will continue to force Americans to fund and uphold its abortion empire, while striking down any and all abortion restrictions.<\/p>\n
