This caused the Columbia Planned Parenthood to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmov.com\/news\/missouri-down-to-abortion-clinic-amid-legal-battle\/article_efb89dc7-cad4-5ed6-89d2-e5dbc7b1dbcc.html\">stop committing abortions this week<\/a>. And now, as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.columbiatribune.com\/news\/20181002\/abortions-end-at-columbia-clinic\">Columbia Daily Tribune<\/a>\u00a0reports, &#8220;That leaves the Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Louis as the only location where women in Missouri may obtain a legal abortion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/missouri-senate-panel-issues-disturbing-report-planned-parenthood-st-louis\/\">READ: <em>Missouri Senate Panel issues disturbing report on Planned Parenthood St. Louis<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region has a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/attempt-ban-counselors-abortion-facility\/\">reputation for sending an average of one woman to the hospital from its facility every six weeks<\/a>, causing pro-lifers to dub it the &#8220;most dangerous&#8221; abortion facility in the nation. Since 2009, it has reportedly sent nearly 70 women to area hospitals that we know of &#8212; but as this information was last updated several months ago, that number is likely to be even higher. Dr. David Eisenberg, a Washington University physician who is the medical director for the Planned Parenthood facility, violated health procedures due to his <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/meet-planned-parenthood-abortionist-doesnt-wash-hands\/\">lack of knowledge<\/a> regarding basic hand washing procedures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5THDmys8z30\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/women-remember-the-dangers-inside-st-louis-record-breaking-planned-parenthood\/\">previous article<\/a> by Live Action News, five Statement of Deficiency Reports, said pro-life group Operation Rescue, &#8220;show Missouri state inspectors have cited the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in St. Louis, Missouri, for 39 classes of violations involving 210 incidents \u2013 53% (111) of which were related to failure to provide a safe and sanitary environment.&#8221; In addition:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senate.mo.gov\/16web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Missouri-Senate-Planned-Parenthood-Review-Statement.pdf\">Missouri Senate review<\/a> of Planned Parenthood of St. Louis found \u201ctroubling discrepancies\u2026 concerning the sale of fetal tissue\u201d along with a \u201cshocking indifference to women\u2019s health, possibly constituting medical malpractice,\u201d including \u201ca deliberate effort to discourage women from seeking treatment at a hospital emergency room,\u201d along with other problems.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Even though the sole remaining abortion facility in the state of Missouri is a Planned Parenthood facility &#8212; which is supposed to be the &#8220;industry standard&#8221; as abortion facilities go &#8212; women obtaining abortions there are still at risk. Keeping substandard abortion facilities open and acting as if health and safety regulations are ridiculous &#8212; the abortion industry&#8217;s current status quo &#8212; <em>isn&#8217;t<\/em> keeping women safe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As Live Action News reported earlier this week, a federal judge has refused to block a Missouri state law that required abortion providers to have admitting privileges with nearby hospitals.
