The organization has just launched a six-figure ad campaign against President Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/trump-kavanaugh-supreme-court\/\">Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh<\/a>, whom Planned Parenthood calls &#8220;unfit to serve a lifetime on our highest court.&#8221; Why? Because Planned Parenthood believes Kavanaugh is would be a potential vote to overturn <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion-on-demand, overruling all state laws protecting preborn children at that time. What Planned Parenthood isn&#8217;t saying, however, is that <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/3-roe-v-wade-overturned\/\">overturning <em>Roe<\/em> would not make abortion instantly illegal<\/a>; it would instead most likely place abortion laws back in the hands of individual states to decide for themselves, just as they did prior to <em>Roe<\/em>. But the abortion giant isn&#8217;t against Kavanaugh because it cares so much about women. (<a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/aidingabusers\">It doesn&#8217;t<\/a>.) It&#8217;s against him because overturning <em>Roe<\/em>\u00a0would threaten the organization&#8217;s very profitable abortion business.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2018\/aug\/9\/planned-parenthood-launches-six-figure-ad-campaign\/\">notes<\/a> that Planned Parenthood&#8217;s new ad campaign, #DearSenators, &#8220;encourages voters to share their personal abortion stories and to urge their congressmen to block Judge Kavanaugh\u2019s confirmation&#8230;.&#8221; Kavanaugh currently serves on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, and is considered a Constitutional originalist.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DearSenators?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DearSenators<\/a>, we care about <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/RoevWade?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#RoevWade<\/a>. Many women regret their abortions; however, it seems unlikely that Planned Parenthood would want <em>those<\/em> kinds of personal abortion stories to be shared. After all, millions of women grieving their children lost to &#8220;choice&#8221; aren&#8217;t exactly a ringing endorsement of keeping <em>Roe<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The organization publicly claims in its annual reports that abortion is &#8220;only 3%&#8221; of what it does. It obtains this figure through a sleight of hand, however, and even the Washington Post <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/washington-post-3-pinocchios-planned-parenthoods-3-percent-figure\/\">called this number &#8220;misleading.&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0What&#8217;s interesting is that even when Planned Parenthood&#8217;s number of &#8220;services&#8221; increase, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortions-skyrocket-other-services-plummet-yet-planned-parenthood-says-abortion-still-3-services\/\">the abortion percentage <em>magically<\/em> remains the same<\/a>. See how it&#8217;s done:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qtgqxvaV-8U\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood&#8217;s patient numbers have <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/health-abortion-profits-planned-parenthood\/\">plummeted over the past several years<\/a>, yet its abortions haven&#8217;t. In fact, the corporation has managed to increase its market share of U.S. abortions to about 35 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-zp4rJW1tFY\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This is why Planned Parenthood&#8217;s political action fund has launched an all-out war against a Supreme Court nominee whom it believes poses a real threat to <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>. It&#8217;s why the organization is fighting the potential <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/congress-live-action-aiding-abusers-hhs\/\">new HHS &#8220;Protect Life Rule&#8221;<\/a> which could strip it of $60 million annually since it refuses to separate its abortion business from its other services (which means that yes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BgB5E91lD6s\">tax dollars are going toward abortion<\/a>.) It&#8217;s also why Planned Parenthood doesn&#8217;t bother to report the sexual abuse of children, returning these victims to their abusers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E-Z8KlRUn6A\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Because Planned Parenthood&#8217;s business <em><strong>is<\/strong><\/em> abortion.
