But beyond this, predatory men have benefited significantly from legalized abortion, which has removed male responsibility from unplanned pregnancy situations, and which is used to cover up sexual abuse. And male abortionists continue to be\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/late-term-abortion-teen-audio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">protected<\/a> by the abortion industry even when they <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/child-porn-harassment-rape-planned-parenthood-haven-sex-offenders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rape<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/chicago-facility-dangerous-botches-abortions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">injure<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/these-7-young-women-died-from-late-term-abortions-but-they-didnt-have-to\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kill<\/a>\u00a0female patients.<\/p>\n<p>Below are eight things everyone should know about the large role certain men played in liberalizing abortion laws in the U.S.:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Pro-eugenics men were the primary people discouraging reproduction among &#8220;undesirable&#8221; groups<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The American Eugenics Society was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eugenicsarchive.ca\/discover\/connections\/5233e53d5c2ec500000000e2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">founded<\/a>\u00a0and led by elite, pro-population control\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-founder-board-non-white\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">white men<\/a>. Its 1964\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnalc.org\/view\/10744-American-Eugenics-Party-platform.html\">platform<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eugenicsarchive.org\/eugenics\/view_image.pl?id=762\">stated<\/a>, \u201cThe United States is already over-populated. A pro-population control man led the push for abortion at Planned Parenthood\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/abortioncorporation\">Planned Parenthood&#8217;s<\/a>\u00a0abortion agenda was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-population-control-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">introduced<\/a> by past American Eugenics Society VP,\u00a0 Alan F. Guttmacher. Both men worked against the feminist pro-life movement to push abortion on women.\" width=\"404\" height=\"246\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Larry-Lader-and-Bernard-Nathanson.jpg 404w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Larry-Lader-and-Bernard-Nathanson-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 404px) 100vw, 404px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-178046\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Larry Lader and Bernard Nathanson &#8212; two men behind the original abortion industry in the U.S.<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Most outspoken abortion enthusiasts in the 1960s were <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-population-control-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">men<\/a>, like Larry Lader and Bernard Nathanson.<\/li>\n<li>Betty Friedan, author of \u201cThe\u00a0Feminine Mystique,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=bATkCwAAQBAJ&amp;printsec=frontcover&amp;dq=SUbverted,+Feminine+Mystique&amp;hl=en&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwjKoPOI8t3ZAhUEVa0KHZ0eDn0Q6AEILTAB#v=onepage&amp;q=Feminine%20Mystique&amp;f=false\">dubbed<\/a>\u00a0\u201cmother of the women\u2019s movement,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/05\/10\/nyregion\/10lader.html\">called<\/a><b>\u00a0<\/b>Lader &#8220;the father of the abortion rights movement.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Friedan founded the National Organization for Women (NOW) in 1966 and in 1967, Lader and Nathanson convinced her to add abortion to NOW&#8217;s plank, causing a loss in female NOW membership.<\/li>\n<li>Lader admitted in his book that \u201cAbortion never became a feminist plank in the United States among the suffragettes or depression radicals. It was ignored, even boycotted by Planned Parenthood women in those days.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>1969: NARAL was established by Lader, Nathanson, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?9556-1\/decides-political-action-prochoice\">Friedan<\/a>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?9556-1\/decides-political-action-prochoice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admitted<\/a>\u00a0few women attended. (Nathanson later <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/1xfEoqGeliA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">renounced<\/a>\u00a0his pro-abortion stance and worked to expose the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/thousands-women-werent-dying-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lies<\/a>\u00a0they told.)<\/li>\n<li>1989: Friedan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?9556-1\/decides-political-action-prochoice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acknowledged<\/a> it was certain\u00a0<i>men<\/i> who\u00a0pushed to legalize <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\/\">abortion<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cI remember that there were some men&#8230; that had been trying to reform these criminal abortion laws. And they got a sense somehow that the women\u2019s movement might make everything different&#8230;. Pro-eugenics men founded the Guttmacher Institute, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s former research arm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alan Guttmacher, former Planned Parenthood president and Eugenics Society VP, founded\u00a0the Center for Family Planning Program Development in 1968, which became the Guttmacher Institute, a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/how-independent-is-guttmacher-from-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">special affiliate<\/a>\u201d of Planned Parenthood.<\/li>\n<li>In 1969, Guttmacher <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-president-decriminalize-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acknowledged<\/a>\u00a0funding came from \u201cKellogg, Rockefeller, and Ford Foundations.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>6. Men in favor of population control pushed for taxpayer-funded &#8220;family planning,&#8221;\u00a0which aids America&#8217;s largest abortion business<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Title X federal <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/nixon-bush-planned-parenthood-family-planning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">family planning<\/a> program\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gao.gov\/products\/GAO-15-270R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allocates<\/a>\u00a0tens of millions of tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.<\/li>\n<li>1965: President Lyndon Johnson (LBJ) supported taxpayer funded \u201cfamily planning&#8221; and\u00a0was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.google.com\/newspapers?id=K8YNAAAAIBAJ&amp;sjid=-nMDAAAAIBAJ&amp;pg=6571,6164169&amp;dq=lyndon+johnson+planned+parenthood&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">awarded<\/a>\u00a0Planned Parenthood\u2019s Margaret Sanger Award the following year.<\/li>\n<li>1966: Alan Guttmacher <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-always-making-sure-fewer-people-have-children-heres-proof\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposed<\/a>\u00a0a blueprint to force taxpayers to fund birth control for poor.<\/li>\n<li>1968: George N. Lindsay, chairman of Planned Parenthood-World Population,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1968\/11\/13\/archives\/us-fund-rise-urged-for-birth-control.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">urged<\/a>\u00a0President Richard Nixon to federally fund poor people\u2019s \u201cfamily planning.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>1969: Nixon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.presidency.ucsb.edu\/ws\/?pid=2132\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spoke<\/a> in favor of &#8220;family planning&#8221; and the same year, the Senate approved tax funding for it, with the help of Democrat Senator Joseph D. Bush<\/a>, who later became president. Bush was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/population-control-recruited-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruited<\/a>\u00a0because his grandfather, Prescott Bush, once sat on a Planned Parenthood board.<\/li>\n<li>1972: Nixon\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.presidency.ucsb.edu\/ws\/index.php?pid=3399\">recommended<\/a>\u00a0Congress create the Commission on Population Growth and the American Future to study abortion. It was\u00a0chaired by John D. Rockefeller III, a longtime advocate of population control. The Executive Director was Charles Westoff, a member of the American Eugenics Society and Planned Parenthood\u2019s National Advisory Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7. An all-male Supreme Court legalized abortion<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1973: U.S. Supreme Court justices, <em>all men<\/em>, ruled 7 to 2 to vote in the Roe v.
