The \u201coffending\u201d videos included one webinar explaining APR in scientific and medical terms. The remaining three told the stories of women who chose life for their babies using the APR protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Citing its policies on \u201charmful or dangerous content,\u201d YouTube opted to suspend the APR account entirely, explaining that it \u201cdoesn&#8217;t allow content that encourages or promotes violent or dangerous acts that have an inherent risk of serious physical harm or death.\u201d Examples of videos that violate this policy are videos about \u201cinstructional bomb making, choking games, hard drug use, or other acts where serious injury may result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/267431165\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Above is one of the videos that YouTube deemed \u201charmful or dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The move comes mere weeks after a <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/study-yes-women-can-stop-in-progress-chemical-abortion-with-life-saving-protocol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new study<\/a> found that the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol is both safe and effective for women who change their mind after beginning a chemical abortion. The study, which followed 754 women who wanted to stop their in-progress chemical abortion, reported a 68 percent success rate in reversing the effects of mifepristone, the first pill in the two-part chemical abortion process.<\/p>\n<p>The APR protocol involves administering progesterone to counteract the first abortion pill. Progesterone is FDA-approved and has been used to prevent miscarriage since the 1950s. Since 2007, over 500 women have used the APR protocol to save their babies from abortion. Today, the protocol is backed by a network of 350 medical providers.<\/p>\n<p>Heartbeat International, which took the reins of the APR Network and Hotline (1-877-558-0333) <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/life-saving-abortion-pill-reversal-network-hotline-change-hands\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">just weeks ago<\/a>, has begun the formal appeal process with YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Heartbeat International is no stranger to efforts to silence the life-saving APR message. Despite its safety and efficacy, the protocol has come under fire from abortion advocates, who oppose a woman\u2019s right to choose not to finish an unwanted abortion. <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/finish-line-nearing-for-year-long-audit-of-pro-life-org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Since early 2016<\/a>, Heartbeat International has <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/apr-bon-dec-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">successfully defeated<\/a> multiple efforts by California bureaucrats to prevent nurses from learning about the life-saving protocol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to understand why YouTube would treat the rescuing of babies from an abortion pill the same as terrorism videos,\u201d said Jor-El Godsey, President of Heartbeat International. \u201cOn closer investigation, we believe YouTube will find that these videos in no way resemble such dangerous or harmful content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since the protocol\u2019s inception in 2007, abortion advocates have derided it as \u201cjunk science,\u201d even though some doctors who support abortion acknowledge that Abortion Pill Reversal is built upon a sound scientific foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/07\/18\/magazine\/a-new-front-in-the-war-over-reproductive-rights-abortion-pill-reversal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>this July, for instance, Yale School of Medicine\u2019s Dr. Harvey Kliman said the protocol, \u201cmakes biological sense,\u201d and went as far as to say he would recommend the treatment to his own daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Although Abortion Pill Reversal is credited with saving hundreds of lives, Planned Parenthood, the world&#8217;s most aggressive and largest provider of abortion, still has its YouTube account.<\/p>\n<p>Heartbeat International\u00a0initiated YouTube\u2019s formal appeal process on April 30.
