Pendergraft is willing to commit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortions<\/a> after 24 weeks of pregnancy, when the preborn baby is viable and could survive outside of the womb. He has had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2011\/07\/27\/babies-born-alive-in-toilets-at-abortion-center-left-to-die\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">babies born alive after abortion<\/a>, who were then left to die. He&#8217;s also <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/botched-abortion-leads-to-emergency-hysterectomy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">botched abortions<\/a>, leaving at least one woman unable to have children for the rest of her life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r5Af8vIym2o\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Pendergraft is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/undercover-sting-exposes-illicit-late-term-abortion-clinic-in-maryland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not licensed to practice medicine in Maryland<\/a>, and was arrested in 2015 in South Carolina <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/traveling-abortionist-arrested-in-south-carolina-revealed-to-be-infamous-late-term-abortionist-pendergraft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a drug bust<\/a>. Throughout all of this, Pendergraft continued to operate four abortion facilities in Florida, despite his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/illegal-abortionist-pendergraft-pleads-guilty-sentenced-to-5-years-probation-on-drug-offenses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2017 drug convictions<\/a>. But the state of Florida is finally taking action.<\/p>\n<p>The licenses of four abortion facilities <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2018\/04\/16\/four-abortion-clinics-shut-down-after-their-abortionist-owner-was-convicted-on-multiple-drug-charges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">have been revoked<\/a> as a result of Pendergraft&#8217;s drug convictions. After pleading guilty, Pendergraft was disqualified from owning or operating any abortion facility. One facility, the Ocala Women&#8217;s Center, closed voluntarily in 2015. The EPOC Clinic closed voluntarily for renovations several months ago, but now will not be able to reopen.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_87732\" style=\"width: 682px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-87732\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-87732\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pendergraft-672.jpg\" alt=\"abortion, abortionist\" width=\"672\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pendergraft-672.jpg 672w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pendergraft-672-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 672px) 100vw, 672px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-87732\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Abortionist James Scott Pendergraft (Photo by American Life League via Flickr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Orlando Women&#8217;s Center is still open under dubious circumstances. Renamed the Center of Orlando for Women, it is now owned by Denise Williams, Pendergraft&#8217;s ex-wife and the mother of his children. The medical director there, Randall Whitney, also has a medical license <a href=\"http:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/document3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">under indefinite suspension<\/a>, and he also has a history of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/abortionist-that-slapped-patient-only-fined-reprimanded-despite-history-of-abuse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">patient abuse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/why-i-admire-pro-life-sidewalk-counselors\/\">READ: <em>Why I admire pro-life sidewalk counselors<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fort Lauderdale Women&#8217;s Center had its license revoked in March, but <a href=\"http:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/040918FLWomensCenterHealthCareFacilityComplaintForm1-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a complaint has been filed<\/a> alleging that the facility has continued to perform abortions illegally. A fifth facility, Women&#8217;s Center of Hyde Park, is being allowed to remain open, presumably because Pendergraft was able to transfer ownership to his ex-wife, Denise Williams, in 2010. The facilities which have remained open due to a change in ownership still retain the same staff and are still run by people close to Pendergraft, and continue to have problems following the law.<\/p>\n<p>The Center of Orlando for Women is operating without a licensed medical director, and the Fort Lauderdale Women&#8217;s Center is allegedly operating illegally without a license.
