One bill signed into law requires that women who take the <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\">abortion<\/a> pill must be informed that abortion pill reversal &#8212; the chance to potentially save their babies&#8217; lives after the first pill of the abortion pill regimen is taken &#8212; is available to them.\u00a0Idaho <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/lifestyles\/health\/sns-bc-id--xgr-otter-new-laws-20180320-story.html\">joins<\/a> Arkansas, Utah, South Dakota, and Arizona, which have similar laws regarding informing women of the potential to halt the abortion pill process halfway through.<\/p>\n<p>In the video below, Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist, explains the process of chemical\/medical abortion by pill:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press claims that &#8220;medical groups that say there is little evidence to support&#8221; the idea of abortion reversal, and &#8220;&#8230; there is no evidence the abortion reversal procedure works and little information about its safety.&#8221; The AP even quotes the pro-abortion American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as saying that abortion pill reversal is &#8220;not based on science&#8221; &#8212; as if the abortion industry actually cared about <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/scientific-fact-human-life-begins-conception\/\">science<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But doctors who offer abortion reversal say <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/not-medical-theater-reality-abortion-reversal-angers-abortion-backers\/\">there&#8217;s nothing unscientific about it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-pill-reversal-giselle\/\">Pregnancy Help News<\/a>, &#8220;as many as 50 women are reaching out to the [abortion reversal] hotline every month to try and interrupt a chemical abortion,&#8221; and to date, we know of at least 400 babies whose lives have been saved through abortion pill reversal &#8212; real, surviving, and thriving babies like Cruz and Zechariah.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_162117\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-162117\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-162117\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal-700x369.jpg\" alt=\"Rebekah, who chose abortion reversal for her son Zechariah.\" width=\"700\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal-700x369.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal-768x405.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal-500x264.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/AmyMendoza-Cruz-abortion-reversal.jpg 998w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-162117\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Amy Mendoza&#8217;s son Cruz was saved by abortion reversal.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cruz is the son of Amy Mendoza. He, too, was saved when his mother visited a Planned Parenthood and changed her mind immediately after she left, searching online and finding <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\">AbortionPillReversal.com<\/a>, which referred her to a doctor who helped her with reversing the effects of mifepristone. A <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/woman-who-had-abortion-reversal-ive-never-felt-more-desperate-and-hurt-than-after-starting-my-abortion\/\">previous Live Action News article<\/a> pointed out how Rebekah was pressured by Planned Parenthood staff to complete the abortion:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Planned Parenthood was not the least bit supportive of Rebekah\u2019s choice\u00a0to attempt to reverse her abortion. The office staff called her\u00a0several times, wanting to know why she had not returned for her follow-up appointment to ensure that the abortion was completed. Follow-up is understandable, but when Rebekah\u00a0explained that she had changed her mind, she said that the staffers were furious. They told her it was pointless to try to save her baby, and that if he did survive, he would be deformed. Planned Parenthood put pressure on Rebekah\u00a0to finish the abortion of her son.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G2kzNBmKrw4\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Despite being told that taking the abortion pill is similar to having a heavy period, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/hey-teen-vogue-these-15-women-taking-abortion-pill-nothing-like-period\/\">women have suffered greatly<\/a> from taking the abortion pill with things like extreme blood loss, huge clots, excruciating cramping, sweating, and symptoms like labor. Some women even saw the bodies of their babies during the process.<\/p>\n<p>Women like Mendoza and Buell continue to speak out, believing that women have a right to know that their decision to abort, should they come to regret it immediately thereafter, may be reversed.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s so important for me to speak out,\u201d Buell said. \u201cFor women to know they\u2019re not alone, that they\u2019re not crazy for making a decision of fear and then changing their mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Laws like those in Idaho will hopefully make it so that more women like Mendoza and Buell are truly informed, and therefore, empowered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, Idaho Governor\u00a0C.L. &#8220;Butch&#8221; Otter signed several measures into law, but one in particular has garnered the ire of pro-abortion apologists.
