The March for Life has announced that President Donald Trump will address the 45th annual March for Life live from the White House Rose Garden via satellite on January 19, 2018. President Trump will be the first sitting United States president ever to address the event in the 45-year history of the March.<\/p>\n

“Since his first day in office, President Trump has remained steadfast on his campaign promises to the pro-life cause and has actively worked to protect the unborn,” said Jeanne Mancini<\/a>, President of March for Life.<\/p>\n

“Over the past year, the Trump administration has significantly advanced pro-life policy, and it is with great confidence that, under his leadership, we expect to see other pro-life achievements in the years to come. We welcome our 45th President, Donald Trump to the 45th annual March for Life.”<\/p>\n

While other pro-life presidents have addressed the March for Life via pre-taped messages, President Trump will be the first to give a live address, adding to his historic contributions to the pro-life movement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re excited to announce that the President will become the first sitting president to address the March for Life from the White House live via satellite,\u201d White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders\u00a0said<\/a>. \u201cThis will take place from the Rose Garden. The President is committed to protecting the life of the unborn and he is excited to be part of this historic event.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the March for Life, over one hundred thousand Americans are expected to travel from around the United States to Washington D.C., on January 19 for the 2018 March for Life. These citizens will vocally and peacefully stand up for the right to life for all preborn children. Additional speakers will include House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), Pam Tebow<\/a>, Rep.
