He spoke with Pastor Louie Giglio at Passion 2018, an annual college student conference.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-filter embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"player0\" class=\"video-filter video-youtube video-center vf-hbfkbyc81is embed-responsive-item\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HBfkByC81Is?modestbranding=0&amp;html5=1&amp;rel=1&amp;autoplay=0&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;loop=0&amp;controls=1&amp;autohide=0&amp;showinfo=0&amp;theme=dark&amp;color=red&amp;enablejsapi=0&amp;start=434\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Tebow delved into his story after the pastor asked him what\u00a0\u201cmade you into the person you are?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was born in the Philippines to missionary parents and I have a special birth story,\u201d Tebow began telling how abortion almost became his reality. \u201cThe doctors said that I wasn\u2019t even a baby; they said I was a tumor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was something his siblings never let him forget \u2013 he jokingly added\u00a0that they nicknamed \u201cTimmy the Tumor\u201d after he was born.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-blog_body-100 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/s3\/files\/styles\/blog_body-100\/s3\/images\/tebow_3.jpg?itok=CdlIItgC\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Because of his mother\u2019s faith, he said, he was alive today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a lot of craziness with my entire \u2013 with my mom\u2019s pregnancy with me,\u201d he said. \u201cShe decided to trust God and not what the doctors were saying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His life, he said, was a miracle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then I was born and it was a miracle \u2014 the placenta wasn\u2019t attached the entire pregnancy, but I was malnourished, but I made up for it pretty quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He concluded by thanking his parents for serving as his role models and influencers.<\/p>\n<p>Both he and his mother appeared together in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/matt-philbin\/2010\/01\/26\/predictable-lefty-outrage-tebow-pro-life-superbowl-ad\">pro-life 2010 Superbowl ad<\/a>.
