This can be seen in Live Action&#8217;s newest docuseries, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/AidingAbusers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aiding Abusers<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E-Z8KlRUn6A\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In January of 2017, Live Action News published a state by state list of criminal cases where Planned Parenthood failed to report these abuses. <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-failed-report-child-sexual-abuse-decades-part-one\/\">Part one<\/a>\u00a0demonstrated Planned Parenthood\u2019s failure to report child sexual abuse in Alabama, Arizona, and California. <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-has-failed-to-report-child-sexual-abuse-for-decades-part-two\/\">Part\u00a0two<\/a> added Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.\u00a0Another egregious case <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-ignored-sexual-abuse\/\">was found<\/a> in Washington State. Below are more cases:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alaska &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Dana Ray Thompson\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_177448\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-177448\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-177448 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-Ray-Thompson-sexual-predator-took-victim-to-Planned-Parenthood.png\" alt=\"Dana Ray Thompson took victim to Planned Parenthood\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-177448\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dana Ray Thompson<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In Alaska, where\u00a0Planned Parenthood abortionists <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/unearthed-court-docs-planned-parenthood-considers-all-abortions-medically-necessary\/\">have stated<\/a> that they\u00a0believe <em>all<\/em> abortions are &#8220;medically necessary,&#8221; Dana Ray Thompson was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dps.alaska.gov\/sorweb\/offender.aspx?LOOKUP_KEY=486445397980522521&amp;FORM_TYPE=search\">convicted<\/a> of multiple counts of first and second degree sexual abuse of a minor, plus multiple counts of exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography following his sexual abuse of a teen victim &#8212; which included at least one trip to Planned Parenthood for birth control pills.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/ak-court-of-appeals\/1740447.html\">court document<\/a>, Thompson was in his mid-forties when he began a sexual relationship with his victim, referred to as \u201cJ.C.\u201d The victim was 13 years old when Thompson began grooming her, telling her that &#8220;she had grown up,&#8221; asking about her bra size, and mentioning to J.C. that he wanted a sex slave.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, when J.C. turned 14, Thompson began talking to his victim about pornography and master-slave relationships, he then showed J.C. adult pornography. In 2005, Thompson began his sexual encounters with J.C. She was just 14 years old. Thompson then began engaging in more sexual activity with J.C., such as taking nude and sexually suggestive photographs of the young victim.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/ak-court-of-appeals\/1740447.html\"> court document<\/a> states that when J.C. turned 15 years old, Thompson took her to Planned Parenthood \u201cso that J.C. could obtain birth control,&#8221; after which, the predator and victim engaged in &#8220;multiple types of sexual intercourse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Given this timeline, it seems obvious from the court record that Planned Parenthood did not report suspicion of abuse. The abuse did not become public until the summer of 2008, three years after Thompson began his sexual assaults on the victim and at least two years after he took her to Planned Parenthood. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/ak-court-of-appeals\/1740447.html\">court document<\/a>, the abuse became public when \u201cJ.C. spoke with a childhood friend who described being molested by an older man.\u201d J.C. eventually told her mother who called the police. By this time, J.C. was 18, and had suffered additional abuse due to Planned Parenthood&#8217;s neglect.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_177450\" style=\"width: 712px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-177450\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-177450\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-R-Thompson-Sex-Offender-took-child-to-Planned-Parenthood-2.png\" alt=\"Image Court Document \" width=\"702\" height=\"439\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-R-Thompson-Sex-Offender-took-child-to-Planned-Parenthood-2.png 702w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-R-Thompson-Sex-Offender-took-child-to-Planned-Parenthood-2-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-R-Thompson-Sex-Offender-took-child-to-Planned-Parenthood-2-700x438.png 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Dana-R-Thompson-Sex-Offender-took-child-to-Planned-Parenthood-2-500x313.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-177450\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Court document shows sexual abuse became public years after visit to Planned Parenthood<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Thompson is now\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dps.alaska.gov\/sorweb\/offender.aspx?LOOKUP_KEY=486445397980522521&amp;FORM_TYPE=search\">registered<\/a> with the state as a child sex offender and child kidnapper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arizona &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Mark Joseph Tovar<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_177452\" style=\"width: 130px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-177452\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-177452 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Convictions-MarkTovar.png\" alt=\"Mark Tovar took victim to Planned Parenthood\" width=\"120\" height=\"140\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-177452\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mark Tovar<\/p><\/div>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcao.pima.gov\/convictionprofiles.aspx\">Puma County Attorney&#8217;s Office<\/a>, Mark Joseph Tovar began his deviant molestation and sexual assault against his step-daughter when she was about seven years old. He intentionally and maliciously abused her for her entire childhood, grooming her by his gradual sexual advances over a period of about 14 years. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/cases.justia.com\/arizona\/court-of-appeals-division-two-unpublished\/2015-2-ca-cr-2014-0144.pdf?ts=1446239126\">court document<\/a>, when the victim, referred to as &#8220;M.G.,&#8221; was just 15 years old, Tovar impregnated her. The second abortion took place after the victim had turned nineteen. In March of 2014, the trial court imposed two life sentences and multiple presumptive terms totaling seventy-four years&#8217; imprisonment, all to be served consecutively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Illinois &#8211; Kenneth Mitchell<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_178300\" style=\"width: 437px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-178300\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-178300 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Kenneth-Mitchell.jpg\" alt=\"Kenneth Mitchell took victim to Planned Parenthood\" width=\"427\" height=\"345\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-178300\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kenneth Mitchell Mug Shot (Image: Chicago Police Department)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Kenneth Mitchell was arrested by the Chicago Police Department on January 14, 2016, and was charged with sexual assault of a minor less than 13 years of age and sexual assault of a family member under 18. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/news\/local\/breaking\/ct-south-side-child-sex-assault-20160116-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago Tribune<\/a>, Mitchell\u00a0sexually assaulted one of his victims from 1999 to 2002. The girl was eight years old when the attacks started, according to Assistant State\u2019s Attorney April Gonzales. The report states, &#8220;The victim told a Planned Parenthood counselor of the assaults at some point in 2006 or 2007, Gonzales said. Prosecutors and court record information did not indicate whether the counselor reported the incidents to authorities.&#8221; However, the allegations were not reported to police until the fall of 2015, many years after the victim claims she told Planned Parenthood, leaving questions as to whether Planned Parenthood filed a report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indiana &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Christopher Jewell\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christopher Jewell was the stepfather to a young victim who is referred to as \u201cT.S.\u201d in court documents.<\/p>\n<p>According to the court record, he engaged in a sexual relationship with T.S. from March 25, 2004, through June 30, 2007, while she was between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. The activity included fondling, oral sex, and sexual intercourse. While only six counts were filed against Jewell by the State in this case, the victim testified that he sexually assaulted her over thirty times and maybe as many as fifty times over the three-year period.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/judiciary\/opinions\/pdf\/12301003nhv.pdf\">court document<\/a> states that during the course of the abuse, Jewell took the victim to Planned Parenthood to get her birth control pills without her mother\u2019s knowledge. It was while he was in jail for the charge of aiding or abetting the tattooing of a minor that the victim finally went public about the sexual abuse and revealed to her boyfriend and mother that Jewell sexually abused her. A jury found Jewell guilty on all six counts, and he was sentenced to an aggregate 40-year term for six counts of sexual misconduct and child molesting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Texas &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>James Aaron Lenox\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_177447\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-177447\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-177447 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/james-lenox-took-sex-abuse-victim-to-Planned-Parenthood.jpg\" alt=\"James Aaron Lenox took victim to Planned Parenthood\" width=\"350\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/james-lenox-took-sex-abuse-victim-to-Planned-Parenthood.jpg 350w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/james-lenox-took-sex-abuse-victim-to-Planned-Parenthood-255x300.jpg 255w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-177447\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">James Aaron Lenox (Image credit: Lone Star Fugitive Task Force)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>51-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/records.txdps.state.tx.us\/SexOffenderRegistry\/Search\/Rapsheet?Sid=03062709\">James Aaron Lenox<\/a> took his victim to Planned Parenthood in Austin because she had never been to a doctor. He was arrested in early 2017 by the Texas\u2019 Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/kxan.com\/2017\/02\/06\/accused-child-sex-trafficker-was-victims-guardian\/\">report<\/a> by KXAN. The article states that Lenox is accused of sex trafficking the 16-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Lenox allegedly \u201cgained guardianship over the girl, removed her from school, vowed to marry her and at one point threatened to kill her family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time of his arrest, police found nude pictures of the victim, with documents saying Lenox was the victim&#8217;s \u201cuncle.\u201d\u00a0According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/local\/crime\/article\/Warrant-Central-Texas-man-teen-sex-threatened-10914463.php\">MySanAntonio.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>After Lenox consented to a vehicle search, deputies found a briefcase containing separate folders. In one folder with a girl\u2019s name on it, the deputies found several nude photos, documents state&#8230;. Lenox also allegedly took the girl to Planned Parenthood to get an IUD implanted, the documents said&#8230; the girl&#8230; was sexually assaulted by him&#8230;. Lenox is a registered sex offender who was convicted of indecency with a child via sexual contact in January 1989. The girl he molested was 8 years old.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>KXAN <a href=\"http:\/\/kxan.com\/2017\/02\/06\/accused-child-sex-trafficker-was-victims-guardian\/\">reported<\/a>\u00a0Lenox told police that \u201che took the victim to Planned Parenthood in Austin because she had never been to a doctor. He told investigators the victim was worried about having some kind of disease. In an interview, the victim told police she had sexual encounters with Lenox.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There was no indication in the article that Planned Parenthood contacted police. When the predator was told that a parent or guardian must sign for the procedure, he took matters into his own hands, by allegedly giving the teen &#8220;a drink to induce a miscarriage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The paper did not name the perpetrator (though a second <a href=\"http:\/\/www.good4utah.com\/news\/prosecutors-man-tried-covering-up-evidence-of-rape\/812144480\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media outlet<\/a> published the name as\u00a0Jose Casares-Montalvo), but indicated that the call to police originated not from Planned Parenthood, but from the victim&#8217;s mother after she &#8220;found a plastic bottle of the liquid mixture in the teen\u2019s room,&#8221; telling police that &#8220;she suspected her daughter had been raped, according to court documents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the media report, the predator admitted to police that he took the victim to Planned Parenthood, and &#8220;other documents accuse the man of trying to get the abortion &#8216;to hide what he had done.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Live Action News has previously\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/child-porn-harassment-rape-planned-parenthood-haven-sex-offenders\/\">documented<\/a>\u00a0cases in which Planned Parenthood staffers were accused of sexual abuse or harassment, as well as cases <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/heres-what-happens-sex-trafficking-victims-taken-planned-parenthood\/\">documenting<\/a> what happens when sex trafficking victims are taken to abortion and Planned Parenthood facilities. A 2014 report from the Annals of Health Law, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.annalsofhealthlaw.com\/annalsofhealthlaw\/vol_23_issue_1#pg69\">Health Consequences of Sex Trafficking<\/a>,\u201d quotes one victim claiming that the reason she was taken to Planned Parenthood was because \u201cPlanned Parenthood didn\u2019t ask any questions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Live Action previously\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/sexual-abuse-cover-up\/\">released<\/a>\u00a0its own child sexual abuse\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/sexual-abuse-cover-up\/\">investigation,<\/a>\u00a0which found that eight Planned Parenthood facilities in six\u00a0different states were willing to cover up sexual abuse, including disregarding mandatory reporting laws of suspected statutory rape.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/child-sex-trafficking-cover-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">undercover investigation<\/a> by Live Action caught Planned Parenthood staffers willing to aid undercover investigators, posing as sex traffickers.
