In a D&amp;E abortion, a preborn child is literally ripped by a metal instrument, limb from limb. Former abortionist, Dr. Anthony Levatino, describes D&amp;E abortion in the animated video below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Men and women who commit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\">abortion procedures<\/a> of all kinds are on record describing the violence and brutality of each of them. One of these abortionists, Leroy Carhart, gave his testimony on D&amp;E (dismemberment) abortion to the U.S. Supreme Court. D&amp;E abortion is the most common second trimester abortion procedure used in the United States.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/leroy-carhart-abortion-baby-bleeds-death-torn-limb\/\">Justice Anthony Kennedy<\/a> directly quoted Carhart and summarized some parts of his description:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn from limb from limb. The fetus can be alive at the beginning of the dismemberment process and can survive for a time while its limbs are being torn off.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Carhart agreed that \u201c[w]hen you pull out a piece of the fetus, let\u2019s say, an arm or a leg and remove that, at the time just prior to removal of the portion of the fetus, \u2026 the fetus [is] alive.\u201d Dr. Carhart has observed fetal heartbeat via ultrasound with \u201cextensive parts of the fetus removed,\u201d and testified that mere dismemberment of a limb does not always cause death because he knows of a physician who removed the arm of a fetus only to have the fetus go on to be born \u201cas a living child with one arm.\u201d \u2026\u00a0In Dr. Carhart\u2019s words, the abortionist is left with \u201ca tray full of pieces.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One Pennsylvania legislator who opposed the D&amp;E abortion ban, Rep. Ed Gainey, (D-Allegheny) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox29.com\/news\/politics\/lawmakers-send-wolf-abortion-restrictions-he-plans-to-veto\">said<\/a>, &#8220;We have to be careful in this body that we don\u2019t put an ideology on everybody and say that everybody has to live like this.&#8221; The majority of his colleagues &#8212; including many women &#8212; who voted for the ban disagreed. According to them, any civilized society should oppose this brutal killing of children. Rep. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) said,\u00a0&#8220;Dismemberment abortion is completely inhumane, it&#8217;s barbaric.&#8221; A pointed debate on the bill ensued, but in the end, the Pennsylvania House voted 121-70 to pass the ban, and the Senate agreed, 32-18.<\/p>\n<p>In the same bill, Pennsylvania legislators also voted to move the abortion limit in the state from 24 weeks to 20 weeks, saving the lives of babies earlier in pregnancy &#8212; many of whom are <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/fact-check-planned-parenthood-actually-does-perform-abortions-after-viability\/\">viable<\/a> and could live outside the womb.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_91254\" style=\"width: 682px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/baby-born-1-chance-survival-defies-odds\/23-weeks-mcardle\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-91254\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-91254\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-91254\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/23-weeks-mcardle.jpg\" alt=\"Baby Meabh Mcardle, born at 23 weeks. (Photo via Facebook)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, a vocal abortion advocate, has announced he will veto the bill, saying, &#8220;These women deserve our support, not to be maligned by politicians in Harrisburg for making medical decisions about their bodies for their families with their doctors.&#8221; Gov. Wolf <a href=\"https:\/\/www.governor.pa.gov\/governor-wolf-sb3-assault-doctor-patient-relationship\/\">claims he will veto the bill<\/a> because of women whose lives are at risk during pregnancy. However, this is a provably deceptive claim, as the bill <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/legis\/PN\/Public\/btCheck.cfm?txtType=PDF&amp;sessYr=2017&amp;sessInd=0&amp;billBody=S&amp;billTyp=B&amp;billNbr=0003&amp;pn=0283\">allows an exception<\/a> for abortion for the life of the mother or to prevent &#8220;the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the woman.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVISM:\u00a0<\/strong>Send <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\">the animated video on D&amp;E abortion<\/a> to Gov. Wolf, so he can see that dismemberment abortions are not committed on a woman&#8217;s body, but on a baby&#8217;s body. It is the baby whose legs are torn off and who bleeds to death. Many of these babies are viable when D&amp;E abortions are committed.<\/p>\n<p>Tell Gov. Wolf that this bill already has an exception for the life and serious health of the mother, so he needs to stop lying to the public about his reasons for vetoing the bill.<\/p>\n<p>Urge him to reverse his position and sign the bill.
