At The Federalist<\/a>, former Planned Parenthood<\/a> director Abby Johnson, founder of abortion<\/a> worker outreach And Then There Were None<\/a>, writes about attending a women\u2019s conference in Detroit, Michigan earlier in 2017. She says the conference was \u201csponsored solely by progressive organizations, including premiere sponsor Planned Parenthood, my former employer.\u201d Johnson makes clear that pro-life views were not represented in any way at the women’s conference, and she shares the truths that were revealed behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood’s “3%” Statistic is False<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Planned Parenthood\u2019s public relations machine pushes the \u201c3%\u201d statistic (referring to the claim that abortions comprise only three percent of the organization\u2019s services) to society at large, behind closed doors, they and their supporters acknowledge that this statistic is totally false. Johnson writes:<\/p>\n

The abortion industry is no longer hiding behind their \u201cfamily planning\u201d services. They are super proud of the abortions they commit. One woman in a panel, who worked for Planned Parenthood, even said [they] should stop saying abortion is \u201conly 3 percent of their services.\u201d She said Planned Parenthood shouldn\u2019t try to hide that the \u201cmajority of what they do in the clinics is to provide abortions.\u201d Another thing I learned: these women are super honest about what the abortion industry is all about when they think no pro-lifers are around.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The three percent statistic, to which even a Washington Post fact-checker gave \u201cthree Pinocchios,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0was debunked by Live Action in the following video:<\/p>\n
