Madoff, who <a href=\"https:\/\/archives.fbi.gov\/archives\/newyork\/press-releases\/2009\/nyfo062909.htm\">operated<\/a> a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ponzi_scheme\">Ponzi scheme<\/a>\u00a0(defined as &#8220;a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources) which made some people very wealthy while\u00a0bankrupting newer investors, is now funding the nation&#8217;s largest provider of abortions: <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/abortioncorporation\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>. According to 990 tax records filed online, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpbfoundation.org\/\">JPB Foundation,<\/a>\u00a0which Forbes once\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/nathanvardi\/2014\/09\/09\/barbara-picower-is-back-in-business-as-one-of-the-nations-top-philanthropists\/#387023ee49b2\">called<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;one of the top 40 foundations by asset size in the nation,&#8221; has contributed millions to Planned Parenthood in the past few years, making them <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frcaction.org\/bigleft\">one<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/opinion\/planned-parenthoods-biggest-donors-gave-374-million-in-four-years\">largest donors<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\">abortion<\/a> corporation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2011_0833623d.PDF\">2011<\/a> &#8211; $73,993<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2012_09bd0ca0.PDF\">2012<\/a> &#8211; $3,250,000<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2013_0ae714cc.PDF\">2013<\/a> &#8211; $4,500,000<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2014_0c199648.PDF\">2014<\/a> &#8211; $4,500,000<\/li>\n<li class=\"mobile-fold ex-fold\"><a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2015_0d8e0cc7.PDF\"> 2015<\/a>&#8211;\u00a0 $6,500,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_175530\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-175530\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-175530 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Barbara-Picower-of-JPB-Foundation-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Barbara-Picower-of-JPB-Foundation-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Barbara-Picower-of-JPB-Foundation-80x80.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-175530\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Barbara Picower, president of JPB Foundation<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In addition, the JPB Foundation, which accrued its money thanks to fraud,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/990.erieri.com\/EINS\/900747216\/900747216_2015_0d8e0cc7.PDF\">contributed<\/a> large sums of money to pro-abortion groups like the Clinton Foundation, the ACLU, the Center for American Progress, the Guttmacher Institute, and the Center for Reproductive Rights, to name a handful.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara Picower, president of the philanthropic foundation, is, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/nathanvardi\/2014\/09\/09\/barbara-picower-is-back-in-business-as-one-of-the-nations-top-philanthropists\/#6d7235c149b2\">Forbes<\/a>, &#8220;the widow of the biggest beneficiary of the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme&#8230; with more than $2 billion in assets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A report <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/news\/planned-parenthood-offers-free-emergency-services-in-florida-after-irma-maria-9852849\">published<\/a> in the Miami New Times described the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpbfoundation.org\/\">JPB Foundation<\/a>\u00a0as &#8220;a philanthropic organization founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/nathanvardi\/2014\/09\/09\/barbara-picower-is-back-in-business-as-one-of-the-nations-top-philanthropists\/#387023ee49b2\">Barbara Picower<\/a>, the widow of the biggest beneficiary of Bernie Madoff\u2019s Ponzi\u00a0scheme, after she agreed to pay $7.2 billion to Madoff\u2019s victims.&#8221; Forbes notes that Picower has &#8220;more than $2 billion in assets&#8221; and notes that Barbara&#8217;s now-deceased husband, Jeffry Picower, had &#8220;received a net of $7.2 billion in distributions over the years from Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One other interesting surprise: Planned Parenthood&#8217;s president, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-prez-political-organizer-not-health-care-expert\/\">Cecile Richards,<\/a> sits on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpbfoundation.org\/\">JPB Foundation<\/a>&#8216;s board! <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpbfoundation.org\/financials\/\">Mystery solved<\/a> as to how Planned Parenthood is scoring so many millions from this organization that profited from defrauding people.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her current role as CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (and a board member of the\u00a0JPB Foundation), Richards has also joined the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fordfoundation.org\/the-latest\/news\/cecile-richards-to-join-ford-foundation-board\/\">board<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/saynsumthn.wordpress.com\/2010\/02\/02\/ford-foundation-brings-president-of-eugenic-founded-organization-into-their-board-of-directors\/\">Ford Foundation<\/a>\u00a0and currently\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fordfoundation.org\/people\/cecile-richards\/\">serves<\/a>\u00a0as a Trustee. The Ford Foundation has for decades promoted progressive policies and abortion rights, and has also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fordfoundation.org\/work\/our-grants\/grants-database\/grants-all?search=%26SearchText%3DPlanned%20Parenthood&amp;page=0&amp;minyear=2006&amp;maxyear=2017\">donated<\/a>\u00a0millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>JPB&#8217;s president, Barbara Picower, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insidephilanthropy.com\/home\/2016\/3\/10\/meet-the-50-most-powerful-women-in-us-philanthropy.html\">identified<\/a> by <em>Inside Philanthropy<\/em> as one of the nation&#8217;s most powerful women in philanthropy, joins the ranks of other radical abortion funders like Melinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Carol Larson,<em id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1511935750803_1570\">\u00a0<\/em>president and CEO of the Packard Foundation; and\u00a0Susan Buffett, chair of the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation and the Buffett Early Childhood Fund.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-175553\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913-700x525.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913-500x375.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Picower_Institute-20060913.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Picower has been a longtime advocate of abortion. Prior to her husband&#8217;s passing and before the Madoff scandal, in 1999, Barbara\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sptimes.com\/News\/070801\/news_pf\/Worldandnation\/Complex_web_benefits_.shtml\">gave $250,000<\/a> to the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League through her <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.boston.com\/business\/articles\/2008\/12\/20\/major_foundation_falls_to_madoff_fraud\/\">Picower Foundation<\/a>. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/21414030\/Picower-Foundation-2002-Tax-Return-Part-1\">2002<\/a>, Picower also gave NARAL $750,000 and donated to Planned Parenthood then as well.<\/p>\n<p>JPB Foundation has also been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peerhealthexchange.org\/blog\/partnership-phe-ucsf-bixby-center-for-global-reproductive-health\">credited<\/a> with funding projects for The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health. Live Action News has preciously <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/studies-funded-abortion-supporters-attempt-disprove-women-regret-abortion\/\">reported<\/a> that the Bixby Center trains abortion providers though its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ryanprogram.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ryan Residency Training Program<\/a>, providing\u00a0\u201cob-gyn residents the opportunity to develop clinical and research skills in abortion and contraception,\u201d and claiming to have \u201cdoubled the number of programs addressing these critical women\u2019s health issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MEwD787-tCE\">lecture<\/a> sponsored by The Center for Strategic Philanthropy and Civil Society (CSPCS), earlier this year, Barbara Picower admitted that the JPB Foundation uses family planning &#8212; or as some would call it, &#8220;population control&#8221; &#8212; to fight poverty. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MEwD787-tCE\">video<\/a> of her talk, Picower seemed to hold a disparaging view of pregnant women and teen girls, painting them as helpless without the support of a &#8220;male.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;If a 15-year-old woman has two kids and no male support, that young woman doesn&#8217;t have a clue about how to get out of poverty unless she&#8217;s standing on the corner like the film, <em>Pretty Woman<\/em>, and a rich Richard Gere comes by and rescues her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But, that&#8217;s not what is going to be logical for that child. So, we feel that making sure that children &#8212; until they can be responsible for raising children &#8212; and helping them get the required birth control that they need. And God forbid that they need an abortion that they don&#8217;t have to go through the hoops and made to feel horrible that they did that&#8230;&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Once people learn what abortion truly is and does, it&#8217;s hard <em>not<\/em> to feel horrible about it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5THDmys8z30\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Pushing abortion and birth control (a.k.a. family planning) on the poor is nothing new for those like Planned Parenthood and friends, whose belief system is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthoods-connections-to-eugenics\/\">steeped<\/a> in a eugenics philosophy. In Margaret Sanger\u2019s \u201cBirth Control and Racial Betterment,\u201d the Planned Parenthood founder linked the goals of eugenics with the goals of promoting birth control, writing (emphasis added):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the\u00a0<strong><em>unfit<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>but upon\u00a0<em><strong>stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>\u2026<em><strong>While I personally believe in the\u00a0sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic<\/strong><\/em><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to\u00a0<strong><em>the constantly growing stream of the unfit\u2026\u00a0Eugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. Guttmacher, once\u00a0vice president of the American Eugenics Society, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/1973-video-former-planned-parenthood-eugenicist-president-responds-roe\/\">one-time president of Planned Parenthood<\/a>\u00a0who established the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/guttmacher-planned-parenthood-research-misleads-women-basic-pregnancy-facts\/\">Guttmacher Institute<\/a>, advocated that if families did not limit births to just two children, then compulsory methods of population control could become necessary. Guttmacher also admitted to the New York Times in 1969 that many leaders sitting on Planned Parenthood\u2019s board were in favor of coercive measures of population control.<\/p>\n<p>In his 1959 book, \u201cBabies by Choice or By Chance,\u201d Guttmacher claimed the atomic bomb would be \u201ckinder to future generations\u201d than \u201cthe explosion of the population bomb.\u201d He bemoaned the fact that death rates were decreasing, while birth rates were on the rise, writing, \u201c[I]f we want to decelerate the rate of population growth, it must be done by conception control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood now garners profits in excess of $77.5 million dollars annually. Despite philanthropic &#8220;family planning&#8221; programs, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s legitimate medical services are actually\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/prenatal-care-cancer-screenings-decrease-planned-parenthood-loses-100000-patients\/\">decreasing,<\/a> yet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortions-skyrocket-other-services-plummet-yet-planned-parenthood-says-abortion-still-3-services\/\">abortions<\/a>\u00a0continue to rise at the tax funded organizations. Planned Parenthood is an abortion corporation which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/how-abortion-chain-planned-parenthood-masquerades-as-a-health-care-provider\/\">masquerades<\/a> as a health care agency.
