(Save the Storks<\/a>)\u00a0It\u2019s been several years since supermodel, Kathy Ireland, appeared on Mike Huckabee\u2019s talk show to talk about her stance on the issue of life. Even almost a decade later, Ireland\u2019s responses to common pro-choice arguments are some of the most clear and concise we\u2019ve ever heard.<\/p>\n

But Ireland wasn\u2019t always pro-life. She became a Christian as a teenager\u2013around the time her modeling career took off\u2013but still considered herself pro-choice for many years.<\/p>\n

She told Huckabee,\u00a0\u201cI always have and I will continue to fight for women\u2019s rights,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0going on to describe her former pro-choice perspective:\u00a0\u201ceven though maybe I wouldn\u2019t have [an abortion] myself, who am I to impose my \u00a0beliefs on someone else. It\u2019s a woman\u2019s body, it\u2019s her choice after all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t until years later that she really decided to look into the science surrounding the issue of abortion.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I learned is at the moment of conception, a new life comes into being, the DNA, the genetic blueprint is there, the sex is determined, the blood type is determined, the unique set of fingerprints is there.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
