Since its founding by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood has been no friend to the Black community.<\/p>\n

While the organization was initially honest<\/a> about the dangers of abortion<\/a>, Sanger was known to heavily encourage the use of contraception in certain communities — especially among minorities and the poor. \u201cWe don\u2019t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population,\u201d she once\u00a0stated<\/a>, referencing the need for Black ministers to aid in the mission of promoting birth control throughout the Black community — part of Sanger’s “Negro Project<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood and the Black\u00a0Community Today<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Planned Parenthood is not only pro-abortion, but commits more than any other single organization in the United States — nearly 34 percent<\/a>. When promoting abortion is crucial to its financially and politically driven agenda, Planned Parenthood is more focused on opposing virtually any and all abortion regulation or restriction<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gone are the days when Planned Parenthood spoke honestly about how abortion ends the life of a child and carries risks for the mother. Here to stay are the days when Planned Parenthood singles out minorities and the poor.\u00a0As recently as a week ago, Planned Parenthood’s PP Black Community Twitter account used #ScaryStats to claim Black women are supposedly safer undergoing an abortion than carrying a child to term:<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood employees have been recorded in Live Action’s investigative footage<\/a>\u00a0expressing enthusiastic willingness to accept donations “earmarked specifically” for ending the lives of Black children in the womb. Employees didn’t even hesitate when the donor said he was giving money out of concern that there were too many minority children, saying, “the less Black kids out there, the better.” In fact, the Planned Parenthood staffer even laughed along with the caller, saying, “Understandable, understandable.”<\/p>\n
