Jordan says his mother, who struggled with substance abuse, gave birth to him at age 16 and was unable to care for him. Jordan was taken in by his grandparents.<\/p>\n<p>In the video below, featuring Jordan&#8217;s story as well as his dance dedicated to his adoptive parents, he and his parents share how incredibly happy they are to have each other:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fdancingwiththestars%2Fvideos%2F10155769659351740%2F&amp;show_text=1&amp;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"407\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jordan&#8217;s birth mother may have been unable to raise him, but he was by no means unwanted or alone &#8212; his grandparents wanted him and loved him. There are many others like Jordan, who are very much wanted and loved by their adoptive families. Unfortunately, far too many pro-choice individuals argue that children who are unwanted, abandoned, or abused by their biological parents would be better off <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\">aborted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Self-described pro-choice blogger Twilah at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athinkingpatient.com\/the-pro-choice-argument-i-never-want-to-hear-again\/\">A Thinking Patient<\/a>, says she &#8220;never wants to hear&#8221; that &#8220;misguided&#8221; argument from her fellow pro-choicers again, because it is &#8220;neither reasonable nor compassionate&#8221;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The most misguided argument in promotion of the right to legal abortion is what I\u2019ll call the <em>freedom from a life of suffering<\/em> argument. Sometimes it goes something like this: Abortion shouldn\u2019t be restricted because most unwanted children end up horribly abused and neglected, and there aren\u2019t enough homes for all of the abused and neglected children. Other times it goes like this: People with medical condition X have very hard lives. A child with medical condition X would be a burden to me and society. I wouldn\u2019t want my child to have a hard life as a person with medical condition X&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>But the appeals are neither reasonable nor compassionate.<\/p>\n<p>Just because a child is unwanted by his or her biological parents, she or he is by no means doomed to a childhood filled with abuse. Unwanted does not necessarily equal abused. Conversely, a wanted child is by no means guaranteed a life free from abuse or neglect.<\/p>\n<p>Most importantly, even if a child (wanted or unwanted) does end up experiencing abuse or neglect, it is the right of that human being to decide for herself whether life is worth living as a survivor.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/abortioncorporation\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>, infamously <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/hamilton-actor-donate-planned-parenthood-free-ticket\/\">supported by &#8220;Hamilton&#8221; lead actor<\/a> Lin-Manuel Miranda, does an average of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/media-claims-defunding-planned-parenthood-hurt-women-wrong\/\">one adoption referral for every 114 abortions<\/a> it commits. Its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=acb1KUESU6M&amp;feature=youtu.be\">&#8220;options counseling&#8221;<\/a> for women is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Q7YPUDcMBDE\">probably not what you&#8217;d expect<\/a>.
