In an opinion piece published by\u00a0Newsweek<\/a>, Jay Hobbs explains how political forces in California are stepping in-between women and the medical professional who want to care for them when these women seek abortion reversal. After a 17-month audit, California’s powerful Board of Registered Nursing approved a program that would have educated nurses about how to provide abortion reversal to pregnant mothers. However, a month after the approval, the program was suddenly put on a demand to remove the information within days.<\/p>\n

Hobbs wrote:<\/p>\n

The results on the ground have been significant, with over 300<\/a> mothers<\/a> successfully rescuing their children from abortion through the new medical intervention.<\/p>\n

Heartbeat International\u2019s president, Jor-El Godsey, noted that the board\u2019s sudden reversal directly undermines a woman\u2019s ability to \u201cchoose\u201d the outcome of her pregnancy\u2014something pro-choice advocates claim to support.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo oppose Abortion Pill Reversal is not only to deny the science and reality that there are children living today because of it, but it\u2019s to materially keep a woman from even so much as knowing she has the option to potentially stop a chemical abortion once it has begun. This is the abortion lobby taking choices away from women.\u201d …<\/p>\n
