A Planned Parenthood<\/a> abortionist is fighting to keep his medical license after it was learned that in 2014, he committed an abortion<\/a> on a 13-year-old statutory rape victim (whose rapist was 19) and did not send the fetal remains to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n

According to an article in The Sentinel<\/a>, Dr. Allen Palmer is “a contract Planned Parenthood abortionist.” But Palmer and Planned Parenthood seem to be at odds as to who is to blame for the oversight in this situation:<\/p>\n

Palmer\u2019s attorney argued that Planned Parenthood failed to educate Palmer in the relevant law or to review its policies and procedures regarding minors.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood is claiming that Palmer \u201cfound it unnecessary to familiarize himself in detail with (Kansas) laws requiring the preservation of fetal tissue extracted during an abortion procedure\u201d on a minor.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to The Sentinel, in 2002, then-attorney general for Kansas, Phill Kline, faced off against Governor Kathleen Sebelius (who was later appointed to be President Obama’s Health and Human Services Secretary) in his investigation of whether abortions on minors were being properly reported to the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services. Sebelius’s office stonewalled Kline when he sought the records, effectively shielding the abortion industry from any repercussions.<\/p>\n

When Kline finally did obtain the records, what he saw led him to file 107 criminal charges<\/a>, including 23 felonies, against Planned Parenthood. But once Kline left office – his reputation torn to shreds by a pro-abortion governor and a sympathetic media – new attorney general Steve Six, appointed by Gov. Sebelius, shredded documents containing evidence critical to the case against Planned Parenthood. And just like that<\/a>, Planned Parenthood escaped consequences. So what did those records show? The Sentinel notes<\/a>:<\/p>\n

They showed that in the years 2002 and 2003 alone, 166 girls under-15 had abortions at Kansas clinics, the great majority of them at George Tiller\u2019s clinic in Wichita or Planned Parenthood\u2019s in Overland Park. Only two of them were reported to the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, and both of those stories were already in the news.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In other words, Planned Parenthood’s negligence and disregarding of the laws on reporting abortions committed on minors is not new. It’s a systematic failure.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado, returned<\/a> rapist Timothy David Smith’s 13-year-old stepdaughter to him, failing to ask questions when he took her to the facility for an abortion. Details from a 2014 lawsuit<\/a> indicate that at no time did Planned Parenthood question Smith or his victim about their relationship, not even when Smith forced his 13-year-old victim to receive a contraceptive injection at the facility against her wishes. Planned Parenthood did nothing for this victim. A\u00a0judge reportedly<\/a> called the organization’s conduct “outrageous.”<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood has a long and sordid history of turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse of minors, returning victims to their abusers and refusing to report suspicion of abuse to authorities. Alliance Defending Freedom released<\/a> a report detailing how “Planned Parenthood covered up cases of child sexual abuse in seven states” – Alabama,\u00a0Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Minnesota, and Ohio. In at least two of the cases, athletic coaches brought their 14-year-old victims<\/a>\u00a0to Planned Parenthood facilities for abortions. In another<\/a>, a 14-year-old girl had two abortions – both going unreported to authorities.<\/p>\n

These are just a handful of examples. Live Action News’ Cassy Fiano reported<\/a> in 2016:<\/p>\n

Danielle Cramer was a teenager who was kidnapped by 40-year-old Adam Gault. For over a year, he held her captive, and raped her. When she became pregnant, he took her to Planned Parenthood\u2026where they asked no questions, performed the abortion, and gave her right back to Gault<\/a>. A clinic in Philadelphia was caught covering up multiple cases of child rape<\/a>. In California, a 13-year-old girl was repeatedly subjected to sexual abuse at the hands of her stepfather. When she became pregnant, he took her to Planned Parenthood, where staffers did not report the abuse<\/a>, but performed the abortion and sent her back home with her stepfather. She continued to be the victim of abuse for another seven months. In San Francisco, an 11-year-old girl was raped<\/a>, and Planned Parenthood covered up the crime.<\/p>\n

Two separate Planned Parenthood clinics were sued, by two different teenage girls, for refusing to report that they were being abused<\/a>. One of the girls told<\/em> staffers that she was being abused by her father \u2013 they did nothing, and she continued to be abused for another 18 months. The second girl sued because Planned Parenthood staffers performed an abortion on her without notifying her parents first \u2013 which is against Ohio state law. Planned Parenthood also failed to\u00a0report that she was a victim of rape.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There’s a pattern here, and it points not to mere human error but to a lack of real care<\/em> at Planned Parenthood. It certainly appears as if Planned Parenthood’s is willing to look the other way for the price tag of an abortion.<\/p>\n

In Live Action’s own undercover investigations, founder and president Lila Rose posed as a 13-year-old girl impregnated by a 31-year-old man. And as expected, eight Planned Parenthood facilities in six different states expressed no desire<\/a> to truly help the victim by reporting the statutory rape; instead, they tried to coach Rose on how to lie about her rapist’s age in order to obtain an abortion – and failing to report suspected child abuse is a violation of Title X<\/a>:<\/p>\n
