2017’s status as\u00a0an unsafe year<\/a>\u00a0in abortion<\/a> continues. Not only does every abortion take at least one human life, but medical emergencies are increasing as well. On the morning of August 8, the Coalition for Life St. Louis\u00a0reported<\/a> that the St. Louis Planned Parenthood,\u00a0the last facility known for committing abortions in the state<\/a>, sent yet another patient to the hospital. The incident occurred on the morning of August 4. There have now been 67 known medical incidents — where an ambulance was called for a woman — at the St. Louis Planned Parenthood since 2009.<\/p>\n

As Brian Westbrook, Executive Director of the Coalition for Life St. Louis, explained, members of his team witnessed an armed security guard and Planned Parenthood employees blocking the path to anyone who might see what was happening. They also used a tarp to cover the scene, which Westbrook explained is \u201cused often in an attempt to hide that they had just injured a patient at their facility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Westbrook also mentioned that “the paramedics spent nine minutes sitting in the parking lot,” before leaving for the hospital at 11:09a.m.<\/p>\n

With so many medical emergencies at this specific Planned Parenthood location, Operation Rescue has\u00a0dubbed the facility<\/a>\u00a0\u201cthe Most Dangerous Abortion Facility in America.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not merely medical emergencies, however. Several state inspection reports have detailed numerous health and safety violations at Planned Parenthood, leading the facility to also be named a \u201cHouse of Horrors.\u201d David Eisenberg, medical director and abortionist at the facility,\u00a0doesn\u2019t even believe in the value of washing his hands between patients<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On average, there is one medical emergency every six weeks at the St. Louis Planned Parenthood<\/a>\u00a0right now. This turns the claim that legal abortion is \u201csafe\u201d abortion on its head. Planned Parenthood Action Fund, however, continues to further this falsehood.<\/p>\n

Such incidents illustrate the necessity of the pro-life legislation Missouri Governor Eric Greitens recently signed into law. Gov. Greitens called a special session<\/a> to pass the law. Known as SB5<\/a>, it will give the state Attorney General control over prosecuting abortion facilities, as well as make it a crime for abortion facilities to request ambulances arrive without lights and sirens so as to not draw attention.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood Advocates in Missouri<\/a>\u00a0claims that the legislation \u201cwill\u00a0increase the unnecessary burden on Missourians\u00a0while doing nothing to protect their health or safety.\u201d No mention is made of the repeated medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood that are a constant danger to the health and safety of women and children.<\/p>\n

It does not appear that the repeated medical incidents at Planned Parenthood have made their way to mainstream media coverage, though women deserve to know that the organization claiming to stand for their health actually risks their lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
