Andrew-Jaja celebrates the life of every new baby he delivers by breaking into song. The popular doctor sings freely, welcoming each child with a round of &#8220;Happy Birthday.&#8221; His celebration brings a smile to the faces of everyone in the room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I like to sing, but this particular part, singing to babies, started when I was a resident,&#8221; he explained in a video by UPMC. &#8220;There was a gentleman, an older obstetrician-gynecologist on staff and he loved to sing and later on when he was about to retire, he asked me, &#8216;Andy, do you sing to your babies?&#8217; And I said, &#8216;No, it&#8217;s your stuff&#8217; and he said &#8216;Go ahead, do it.&#8217; So I started taking it over. He passed on the baton to me and I took it over and I started to sing to my babies ever since then and I do it every time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NBrhF77Hqag\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear that Dr. Andrew-Jaja loves the babies he delivers when he calls them &#8220;my babies.&#8221; Despite having delivered thousands of children, he calls each one &#8220;special,&#8221; &#8220;an individual&#8221; and &#8220;important.&#8221; He even visits the families after delivery and will sing &#8220;What a Wonderful World&#8221; to the babies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To me it&#8217;s a wonderful thing in my hand &#8211; the miracle of life &#8211; and the rest of it is that it&#8217;s a beautiful world we live in,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;And forget about all the crisis going on everywhere for a moment when you see that miracle of life in front of you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, preborn babies are a miracle, long before birth. From the moment of fertilization, each child has his or her own unique DNA. By as early as <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/babys-heart-begins-to-beat-as-early-as-16-days-after-conception-study-finds\/\">16 days<\/a> after fertilization, a baby&#8217;s heart is already beating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bHe8YGPGzj4\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Doctors like Andrew-Jaja are able to see babies for the individual human beings that they are &#8211; each one with a purpose for his or her life. Despite any crisis or hard times that are happening in the world or in a mother&#8217;s life, those individuals have a right to be born, and that right is stripped from them by <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\">abortion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If abortionists like those at <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/abortioncorporation\">Planned Parenthood<\/a> stopped focusing on the immediate crises &#8212; both big and small &#8212; that women who come to them are facing, and instead focused on truly helping women long-term, they could assist countless women in carrying their children, giving birth to their children, and raising their children while pursuing other life goals as well. But in order to do that, Planned Parenthood would have to become more like crisis pregnancy centers &#8212; giving away help through baby supplies, free or inexpensive housing, and parenting education &#8212; rather than increasing their revenue through abortion. For Planned Parenthood, an abortion chain with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/congress-weighs-defund-live-action-releases-video-exposing-planned-parenthood-abortion-quotas\/\">abortion quotas<\/a> to fill, it&#8217;s all about the money.<\/p>\n<p>The world needs more doctors who see the value in each human life and celebrate it.<\/p>\n<p>We need more doctors who aren&#8217;t afraid to tell their patients not to abort when facing a crisis or a prenatal diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>We need doctors who are willing to save lives rather than destroy them.<\/p>\n<p>These doctors &#8212; like Dr. Andrew-Jaja &#8212; can help change the view that abortion is a solution when in reality, it is just another problem. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\">Abortion<\/a> is a temporary Band-aid that quickly falls off and leaves mothers and fathers in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/the-devastating-reality-of-post-abortion-stress-syndrome\/\">agony<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hope is a powerful thing and we desperately need doctors who provide it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At\u00a0Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, Dr.\u00a0Carey D.
