We are delighted to receive the news of the GAO\u2019s investigation of Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups. It is past time that these organizations be called out for their rampant abuses of taxpayers\u2019 trust and funds \u2013 especially in the wake of Planned Parenthood\u2019s recent multimillion dollar settlement of a Medicaid fraud case in Texas.<\/p>\n

But here is some news for the Government Accountability Office, and for all Americans: our government funds 45% of Planned Parenthood\u2019s billion-dollar budget, thus helping America\u2019s largest abortion corporation continue to destroy human lives. As sickening as these stories of Planned Parenthood defrauding the poor through Medicaid are, we all need to hold the government accountable where it matters most.<\/p>\n

As Live Action has documented again and again, Planned Parenthood is also complicit in widespread sexual abuse cover up, the willingness to aid and abet sexual traffickers, the spreading of egregious medical misinformation, sex-selective abortions, and other crimes against women and children. The abortion industry is rife with abuse, fraud, and waste \u2013 all of which can be expected from those who are willing to prey on our weakest citizens for profit. But even a 100% clean abortion center is still an unspeakable evil, because no accounting gimmick or company retraining will sanitize the fact of what abortion is\u2013a horrific violence against a helpless child.<\/p>\n
