Neuhaus<\/p><\/div>\n

Once known as the late Dr. George Tiller’s “rubber stamper” abortionist for late-term abortions, Ann Kristin Neuhaus has had her license revoked for the third time due to keeping inadequate records for patients.<\/p>\n

CJOnline.com notes<\/a> that “The [Kansas Board of Healing Arts] revoked [Neuhaus’s] limited license in 2012 and 2015 but both times, a Shawnee County judge reversed its action and ordered it to reconsider.”<\/p>\n

According to pro-life group Operation Rescue, Neuhaus was the abortionist who signed off on Dr. Tiller’s late-term (post 22-week) abortions at\u00a0Women\u2019s Health Care Services in Wichita using “dubious mental health justification,” even for “girls as young as 10.”<\/p>\n

Operation Rescue says the KSBHA revoked Neuhaus’s license and ordered her to pay $93,000 at a hearing in 2012, “based on negligent patient care and incomplete, faulty record keeping,” but\u00a0Judge Franklin R. Theis<\/a> struck down this decision, ordering the Board “to recalculate discipline based on her negligent record keeping alone.” As to the charge of alleged negligent patient care, Neuhaus utilized a computer program<\/a> known as “PsychManager Lite” to help her diagnose Tiller’s late-term abortion patients with “mental health” issues, allowing their abortions to then be considered legal. There was no evidence that Neuhaus personally evaluated the patients.<\/p>\n

In 2015, the Board again revoked Neuhaus’s license, but Judge Theis believed this to be “too harsh.” Operation Rescue notes that in July 2017, the Board\u00a0“revoked Neuhaus\u2019 medical license for the third time in a detailed 64-page order that also reduced costs Neuhaus must may [sic] to $30,890.81.”<\/p>\n

For her part, Neuhaus originally stated that the negligent record-keeping was an “oversight,” later changing her story to claim that she intentionally left information out to protect patients’ privacy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
