The pro-life group Operation Rescue reports<\/a> that according to Right to Life of Northeast Ohio, two abortion facilities have suddenly closed without announcing the reasons why.<\/p>\n

The Akron Women’s Medical Group and the Cleveland Women’s Medical Group, which appeared<\/a> to share<\/a> at least one abortionist, have a history of what Operation Rescue calls “egregious health violations and botched abortions.”<\/p>\n

The Akron facility, says OR, offered both medication and surgical abortions and “is listed on a Google search as ‘permanently closed.'”\u00a0Two inspections of the facility in 2011 found multiple violations, listed as “crash cart and ultrasound machine in procedure room were dirty,” “gurneys were covered with heavy black plastic and secured with duct tape under the mattresses,” and “inadequately trained staff.”<\/p>\n

Operation Rescue reports:<\/p>\n

[A] 911 recording<\/a> confirmed that on February 7, 2015, a 26-year old abortion patient suffered a perforated uterus. Instead of calling 911, which is the fastest way to get help, the clinic called the private ambulance company directly, delaying care by an estimated seven minutes, which is a long time when a woman is suffering from a life-threatening medical emergency.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Cleveland facility offered only medication abortions and has been “closed until further notice.” Operation Rescue adds that the facility’s website “once advertised surgical abortions even though it had no license to do them.” After halting these illegal procedures, the facility “continued to offer medication abortions until its recent closure.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
