She employed the Socratic method of questions and answers leading to productive dialogue in making the case for life.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DzzfSq2DEc4\">Gray\u2019s talk<\/a>, published June 19, surpassed Richards\u2019 1,200 views in its first day and was sailing along toward 5,000 views and counting by press time June 22.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Talks at Google\u00a0program presents authors, scientists, actors, artists, filmmakers, musicians, speakers, and others to Google\u2019s California headquarters for presentations focusing on their work.<\/p>\n<p>The stats on Gray\u2019s talk are remarkable not only because they trounced a pro-abortion message, but Google is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/google-to-pay-homosexual-staff-more-than-heterosexual-employees\">known<\/a>\u00a0for harboring a more liberal mindset.<\/p>\n<p>Google has faced\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/heatst.com\/tech\/does-google-have-a-liberal-bias-search-results-for-roger-ailes-speak-volumes\/\">question<\/a>s of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/pulse\/google-review-teams-to-flag-upsetting-search-results-about-sexual-orientati\">its objectivity<\/a>\u00a0because of search\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2017\/02\/04\/google-redefines-the-word-fascism-to-smear-conservatives-protect-liberal-rioters\/\">results\u00a0<\/a>yielding\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/google-search-results-can-lean-liberal-study-finds-1479760691\">more liberal-leaning websites<\/a>\u00a0than conservative ones and for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/google-to-be-sued-for-anti-christian-discrimination-for-refusing-advertisin\">having refused<\/a>advertisements about abortion containing religious content.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/google-pays-tribute-to-the-gay-betsy-ross-rainbow-flag-creator\">Google celebrated the creator of the rainbow flag as a symbol of gay pride<\/a>\u00a0on the first anniversary of his death, and in April an ad released for Google Home, the company\u2019s personal assistant software\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/google-promotes-same-sex-marriage-gay-adoption-in-new-ad\">promoting same-sex \u201cmarriage\u201d and adoption<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Controversy ensued several years ago after the tech giant reportedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/naral-victory-crisis-pregnancy-centers-face-blacklists-from-google-over-dec\">removed crisis pregnancy center ads<\/a>\u00a0at the urging of abortion industry agents. It was later determined the reports may have been largely fabricated by the abortion activists. Not soon after, however, \u201ccrisis pregnancy search\u201d results entered into Google\u2019s search engine\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/planned-parenthood-ad-shows-up-prominently-in-google-search-for-crisis-preg\">brought up Planned Parenthood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gray spoke to her Google audience about people who inspire others and\u00a0what sets them apart. She detailed three qualities found in such individuals: putting others ahead of themselves, having perspective, and doing the right thing even when it\u2019s hard.<\/p>\n<p>Gray proceeded to argue the pro-life position with facts, anecdotes and analogies, elucidating how life is defined and when it begins. She detailed how each of those qualities, when utilized, lead to supporting human life.<\/p>\n<p>During the question and answer session afterward, Gray explained that when starting conversations, whether in an environment that\u2019s friendly or not, it\u2019s best to begin with with open-ended questions.<\/p>\n<p>In countering the position that one should not impose their pro-life position upon others, analogies are helpful, she said. And then she laid out how laws against other offenses such as rape and murder, for example, when applied the same way to abortion, would have the same end.<\/p>\n<p>This is true because as Gray established earlier in the talk, the unborn child is a human being with human rights, raising the question then of whether it is right to have a law allowing the ending of their life.<\/p>\n<p>Gray wrapped up by addressing the abortion mantra of supporting \u201ca woman\u2019s right to choose.\u201d She told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DzzfSq2DEc4\">the Google audience<\/a>\u00a0the sentence has to be finished, the question of choice is left hanging, and that one needs to define what is meant by choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(LifeSiteNews) \u2013 The\u00a0Talk at Google\u00a0delivered recently by pro-life activist and author Stephanie Gray outperformed that of Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards in its first 24 hours online.
