These facilities commit\u00a0medical abortions through 10 weeks of pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>In a chemical\u00a0abortion, the preborn child is cut off from blood and nourishment and essentially starved to death. Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino explains the process in this video:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>These are the latest in a long line of Planned Parenthood facilities\u00a0to close, following the recent shutdown of 10\u00a0facilities throughout Iowa, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs more Californians understand the humanity of the child in the womb, abortion rates continue to drop and as more women decide to go elsewhere for their comprehensive healthcare needs, there are fewer clients going to the nation\u2019s largest abortion business,\u201d said Wynette Sills, director of Californians for Life. \u201cThere are other comprehensive medical clinics in each of these communities where women can receive the care they need, without Planned Parenthood.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Californians for Life,\u00a0Planned Parenthood Northern California affiliate\u2019s annual report for 2016 shows revenue over $50 million a year and expenses of $45 million. With an excess in revenue of over $5 million, Sills notes that facilities\u00a0aren&#8217;t lacking funds. She said this shows that taxpayer dollars directed to Planned Parenthood should be redirected to health centers that don&#8217;t commit abortions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-160409 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DefundAd-400b-1-300x128.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEspecially after the Planned Parenthood investigative videos showing the abortion industry harvesting baby body parts,&#8221; said Sills, &#8220;there is increased public opposition to the nation\u2019s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood. Women are deciding to go elsewhere for their healthcare needs and therefore, we will likely see even more Planned Parenthood locations close in California and across the nation. More women know the humanity of the child in the womb, have experienced the pain of abortion and are getting the help they need when facing an unexpected pregnancy, so that the number of abortions, even here in California continues to decline, which is financially impacting the abortion industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood&#8217;s most recent annual report shows that the organization has\u00a0lost 100,000 clients in a single year. Their <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/prenatal-care-cancer-screenings-decrease-planned-parenthood-loses-100000-patients\/\">total number<\/a> of abortions has risen, while the number of legitimate health care services continues to decline.
