In 2017, 75,000 guests attended Night to Shine in\u00a0375 churches located in 11\u00a0countries. 150,000\u00a0others volunteered to ensure the event was pulled off with perfection.<\/p>\n<p>Popular country band Rascal Flatts made a new song, &#8220;Night to Shine,&#8221; for the occasion:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kfSLyfFwDks\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Last week, Tebow appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about Night to Shine. The 29-year-old former NFL quarterback and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/mlb\/news\/dont-think-the-mets-will-promote-tim-tebow-heres-why-it-could-happen-soon\/\">current Mets prospect<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/tim-tebow-asks-fan-dance-tonight-show-jimmy-fallon-video-184258\/\">called<\/a> it his &#8220;favorite night of the year.&#8221;\u00a0Fallon and Tebow also had a surprise in store for a very special guest in the audience that night. Judy Adams, who has Down syndrome, was overjoyed when Tebow came to get her from the crowd, asking her to dance with him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h2gq2PngXBQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tebow, known for his advocacy for orphans, children with illnesses, and people with disabilities around the world, was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/why-new-york-needs-tim-tebow\/\">featured in a 2010 Super Bowl ad<\/a>. Millions of viewers visited <a href=\"http:\/\/www.focusonthefamily.com\/pro-life\/promos\/tebow\">Focus on the Family<\/a>&#8216;s website, where they could read the whole story of how Tebow&#8217;s mother, <a href=\"http:\/\/pamtebow.com\">Pam<\/a>, rejected an abortion while pregnant with him. PEOPLE <a href=\"http:\/\/people.com\/celebrity\/tim-tebow-foundation-golf-outing-exclusive-interview-athlete-talks-adoption\/\">reports<\/a> that he is &#8220;the result of a very difficult pregnancy,&#8221; quoting Tebow as he discussed the story and his life now:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFor a while, they didn\u2019t even know if I was a baby; they thought I might be a tumor. So my brothers used to call me \u2018Timmy the Tumor\u2019 when I was little. Because of course they did; that\u2019s what brothers do.\u201d &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut, you know, miracles happen every day, and I turned out healthy. That\u2019s sort of what my [charity] work is all about: helping people find those miracles.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/people-features-exclusive-story-on-tim-tebow-foundations-5-year-anniversary\/\">Six-year-old Avita Grace<\/a> is one miracle child who was saved from abortion after her mother saw the Tebows&#8217; commercial and read their story.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tebow <a href=\"http:\/\/people.com\/celebrity\/tim-tebow-making-a-difference-is-sexy\/\">explains<\/a> why he lives out compassion for others through his life choices and the work of his Tim Tebow Foundation: &#8220;To me, it\u2019s especially important to have a heart for kids who are hurting.
