{"id":165891,"date":"2017-05-09T17:47:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-09T21:47:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=165891"},"modified":"2017-05-09T17:47:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-09T21:47:34","slug":"man-leaving-carhart-abortion-facility-biohazard-bag-fetus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/man-leaving-carhart-abortion-facility-biohazard-bag-fetus\/","title":{"rendered":"Man leaving Carhart abortion facility with biohazard bag: &#8216;It&#8217;s a fetus&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>A pro-lifer outside LeRoy Carhart&#8217;s abortion facility in Bellevue, Nebraska, confronted a man leaving the facility with a small biohazard bag on May 4, 2017, in an interaction that leaves more questions than answers.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Rescue <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/video-bizarre-pick-up-of-aborted-babies-at-carharts-nebraska-abortion-mill\/\">reports<\/a> that sidewalk advocate Ashley Riddle spoke to the man, asking him, &#8220;Don&#8217;t these babies deserve a proper funeral?&#8221; The man insisted that Carhart&#8217;s facility was &#8220;a\u00a0normal health clinic,&#8221; and that they don&#8217;t just do abortions there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But you&#8217;re taking out dead babies, sir,&#8221; Riddle tells the man.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a fetus,&#8221; he replies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JRrGyRGePN8\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Then, stunningly, the man decides to enlighten the pro-life advocate with his lack of knowledge on fetal development. &#8220;Did you know a baby\u00a0isn&#8217;t\u00a0formed until, like, six to eight months?&#8221; he tells Riddle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Obviously, this is not the case. By <a href=\"http:\/\/www.healthandwelfare.idaho.gov\/Portals\/0\/Medical\/MoreInformation\/Fetal%20development10_27_08.pdf\">ten weeks after fertilization<\/a> (still in\u00a0the first trimester), all of a preborn baby&#8217;s major organs have formed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_67680\" style=\"width: 507px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-67680\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-67680\" src=\"http:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"497\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM.png 497w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM-300x235.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-67680\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">10 weeks<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Operation Rescue notes that the pickup of biohazardous material &#8220;was\u00a0not indicative of usual biohazard waste disposal pick-up methods often witnessed by pro-life activists at abortion facilities across the country.&#8221; OR also notes the fact that Carhart was recently questioned by a congressional panel regarding fetal body parts trafficking:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">LeRoy Carhart was recently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/carhart-subpoenas-seek-records-of-baby-parts-trafficking-aborted-babies-born-alive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">under investigation by the House Select Panel on Infant Lives<\/a> for suspected trafficking in aborted baby organs and tissue.
