Hillary Clinton may have lost the presidential election, but she’s still number one at Planned Parenthood. This year, the nation’s largest abortion chain is celebrating its\u00a0100 year anniversary, and during the gala in May, Clinton will be presented with the “Champion of the Century” award<\/a> for her “40 years of service to women and girls.”<\/p>\n

The gala, called “100 Years Strong: The Celebration of a Century,” will be held in New York City, and will raise money for Planned Parenthood through ticket sales and an art auction.<\/p>\n

Clinton has been a longtime advocate and defender of Planned Parenthood, and unsurprisingly, received an endorsement from the abortion chain<\/a> during the presidential election. For Clinton, it was certainly well-deserved: she’s been a staunch supporter of Planned Parenthood<\/a>, defending the\u00a0abortion giant\u00a0even when it was caught committing crimes<\/a>. She also made her first speech as the presumptive Democratic nominee at a Planned Parenthood Action Fund gathering, where she promised that she would “always have [Planned Parenthood’s]\u00a0back.”<\/a><\/p>\n

But Clinton hasn’t merely supported\u00a0Planned Parenthood; she’s compared pro-lifers to terrorists<\/a>, and argued that abortion defines who women are<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hillary Clinton isn’t the only one being honored at the Planned Parenthood gala; also being given an award is television producer Shonda Rhimes, the showrunner behind “Scandal,” which featured an abortion at Christmas while “Silent Night” played<\/a>.
