{"id":164685,"date":"2017-04-05T16:13:45","date_gmt":"2017-04-05T20:13:45","guid":{"rendered":"\/news\/?p=164685"},"modified":"2017-04-06T11:06:59","modified_gmt":"2017-04-06T15:06:59","slug":"two-planned-parenthood-facilities-sent-patients-to-hospitals-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/two-planned-parenthood-facilities-sent-patients-to-hospitals-in-march\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Planned Parenthood facilities sent patients to hospitals in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Two East Coast Planned Parenthood facilities sent patients\u00a0to hospitals by ambulance in the month of March 2017 &#8212; one in Boston, Massachusetts, and one in Virginia Beach, Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Rescue <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-abortion-facilities-hospitalize-two-more-patients\/\">reports<\/a> that on March 2, an ambulance was called to the Virginia Beach Planned Parenthood facility for an unconscious African-American patient. Abortionist David Peters had reportedly left the Planned Parenthood facility to commit abortions at\u00a0another nearby facility, before all Planned Parenthood abortion patients were stabilized. Peters has a history of &#8220;shoddy practices,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-abortion-facilities-hospitalize-two-more-patients\/\">detailed<\/a> by Operation Rescue.<\/p>\n<p>Though a complaint was filed with the Virginia Department of Health regarding Peters&#8217; tendency to rush from one job to another, leaving patients &#8220;still in recovery without a physician present,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/VDH-complaint-unit-response.jpeg\">nothing was done<\/a>, as the DOH &#8220;found no &#8216;deficiency&#8217; in deserting surgical abortion patients before they were stabilized.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-160409\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DefundAd-400b-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"170\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On March 28, Planned Parenthood in Boston, Massachusetts, called 911 for another African-American patient whose condition is not currently known.\u00a0This instance\u00a0is &#8220;the fifth medical emergency transport from the Boston Planned Parenthood documented by Operation Rescue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Operation Rescue also notes that they\u00a0released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/343444355\/Medical-Emergencies-at-Planned-Parenthood-Facilities-Jan-2016-March-2017#from_embed\" target=\"_blank\">chart<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;detailing 37 known medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities since January 2016.
