Not on a back alley with a wire hanger, but by a licensed physician.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, the doctors are not gods, and accidents happen. These deaths we keep hearing about happen in circumstances that could very well be prevented &#8212; especially when inspectors fail to report irregularities. Such was the case with Dr. Kermit Gosnell who was indited on 8 counts of murder by a Grand Jury. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phila.gov\/districtattorney\/PDFs\/GrandJuryWomensMedical.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Read full Grand Jury report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Jury and many people have found Dr. Gosnell\u2019s practices deplorable and horrendous. And the way he kept body parts of the babies is just grotesque.<\/p>\n<p>However, how different is the way he murdered the aborted babies born alive, and the way a <a title=\"Partial Birth Abortion\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Intact_dilation_and_extraction\" target=\"_blank\">partial birth abortion<\/a> is performed? Apparently, the only difference is a few inches of maternal tissue.<\/p>\n<p>It seems that the mother\u2019s convenience has more weight before the law than the well-being of a small person that may or not be able to breathe on their own.<\/p>\n<p>As we become a society with more aging adults, that eventually will just inconvenience the younger population, will the older adults be seen as equal human beings once we cannot tend for ourselves? Or will the ninth amendment no longer apply to those \u201cthat cannot prove they are not human anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>38 years later, where do you stand?
