However, according to a new report from Operation Rescue,\u00a0&#8220;Carhart reportedly quit his job with GRHS in October 2016 while under Congressional Investigation and fighting a major\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/abortionist-leroy-carhart-sued-for-a-botched-clinton-supported-late-term-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\">malpractice suit<\/a>,&#8221; but &#8220;returned to work at GRHS about two months later.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And just over a month after his return, on the fourth\u00a0anniversary of the death of Jennifer Morbelli,\u00a0one of Carhart&#8217;s late-term abortion\u00a0patients, another woman was wheeled out of Carhart&#8217;s Germantown facility on a gurney.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, when women are injured by abortionists, it seems little is done. Operation Rescue writes that while this is the &#8220;10th time Carhart has summoned an ambulance to transport one of his patients to the emergency room since he first began working at Germantown Reproductive Health Services (GRHS) in December 2010,&#8221; no one is planning to investigate. &#8220;The Maryland Board of Physicians is currently refusing to investigate Carhart\u2019s patient care issues,&#8221; writes Operation Rescue, &#8220;unless they are provided with the name and contact information of an abortion patient that suffered injuries at GRHS.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Abortion injuries are witnessed frequently by pro-lifers who stand on the sidewalks of abortion facilities nationwide, offering help to women who are planning on aborting their babies. At the Planned Parenthood in St. Louis, Missouri, for instance,\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/numerous-health-violations-found-at-missouri-planned-parenthood\/\">at least 60 patients<\/a> have been transported from the facility to local hospitals since 2009. (The facility has also had numerous health code violations.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-160409\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DefundAd-400b-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"170\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But\u00a0physical injuries aren&#8217;t the only harm that abortion does to women. Many post-abortive women have <a href=\"\/news\/women-say-planned-parenthood-forced-them-into-abortions\/\">asserted<\/a> that they were <a href=\"\/news\/what-to-do-if-your-boyfriend-wants-you-to-get-an-abortion\/\">coerced<\/a> into their abortions. Many have told of experiencing <a href=\"\/news\/the-devastating-reality-of-post-abortion-stress-syndrome\/\">PTSD-type symptoms<\/a> in the years following. And many have <a href=\"\/news\/cnn-special-report-features-hundreds-of-women-who-regret-their-abortions\/\">expressed significant regret<\/a> for choosing abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Rescue notes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The last time an ambulance was called to GRHS was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/6-in-5-months-carharts-hemorrhaging-late-term-abortion-patient-transported-to-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\">April 4, 2016<\/a>, when a hemorrhaging late-term abortion patient was rushed to the hospital&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Since Carhart\u2019s return, two late-term abortion patients have been forced to return to the abortion facility in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/competency-issues-mount-as-late-term-abortionist-carhart-unexpectedly-returns-to-germantown\/\" target=\"_blank\">middle of the night<\/a>\u00a0suffering unscheduled problems. One woman was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/dec292016.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">pictured<\/a>\u00a0waddling into the facility with what appeared to be a plastic shower liner between her legs.<\/p>\n<p>The House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/final-report-planned-parenthood-other-abortionists-broke-the-law\/\" target=\"_blank\">final report<\/a>\u00a0noted that Carhart apparently has health issues, including arthritis so severe in his hands that one former worker told the Panel that Carhart was not physically fit to conduct abortions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When the Select Panel issued its May 2016 subpoena of Carhart in its investigation, it <a href=\"https:\/\/energycommerce.house.gov\/news-center\/press-releases\/select-panel-begins-investigation-late-term-abortionist-leroy-carhart\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0that &#8220;[p]ublic reports indicate at least five women have been sent to the hospital since December [2015] while seeking an abortion in\u00a0this clinic,&#8221; concluding that &#8220;[r]eports regarding the Germantown clinic are deeply troubling, both for the sake of babies whose lives are ended so close to\u2014and possibly even after\u2014birth and for the sake of the women who have been rushed from that clinic to the hospital with increasing frequency.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, little seems to have changed.<\/p>\n<p>Despite\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/the-troubled-past-of-embattled-abortion-doctor-leroy-carhart\/\">deaths of two of his patients<\/a>\u00a0(Jennifer Morbelli and Christin Gilbert) and injuries to many more, Carhart&#8217;s current physical limitations don&#8217;t seem to be stopping him from continuing to put\u00a0women at risk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In November 2016, Live Action News reported that late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart had halted abortions at his Germantown Reproductive Services facility.
