After Live Action released its investigative video on Planned Parenthood’s prenatal deception, women around the country started calling their local Planned Parenthoods to find out if the claim was true. Does Planned Parenthood, by and large, truly fail to provide prenatal care for low-income, minority, and vulnerable women — the very population they claim to serve?<\/p>\n

Well, as women (and a few men) all over are discovering, the answer is a resounding yes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There is power in personal research. When Live Action released its Mammosham video<\/a> in 2015, hundreds of women decided to call Planned Parenthood<\/a> for themselves. These women were able to confirm the claims in Live Action’s video as fact: Planned Parenthood does not offer mammograms.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Right now,\u00a0women are deciding to call Planned Parenthood for themselves again — doing their own research — and are continuing to discover that the huge majority of Planned Parenthood facilities do not offer prenatal care<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Other women are confirming Live Action’s report by sharing their personal experiences at Planned Parenthood. One woman wrote how she offered to pay for a basic dating ultrasound during her pregnancy — a prenatal service. However, Planned Parenthood was only interested in taking her money if she also wanted to get an abortion.<\/p>\n

Others are discovering that what Planned Parenthood advertises isn’t exactly what Planned Parenthood actually provides<\/a>:<\/p>\n

This apparently applies to other forms of women’s healthcare as well:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And about those minority women that Planned Parenthood likes to say they help? Well, here’s what one nurse revealed:<\/p>\n

When Americans pick up their phone and personally call Planned Parenthood, they are realizing the bare truth: Planned Parenthood is America’s Abortion Corporation:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The failure to provide prenatal care (despite claims\u00a0to the contrary<\/a>)\u00a0isn’t a recent failure of Planned Parenthood’s. Its neglect of pregnant women who need prenatal care has been going on for years. (Summer’s<\/a> and Addison’s<\/a> personal stories are both must-reads.) Carol Anne Kemp called Planned Parenthood<\/a> in 2015 and wrote<\/a> about her experience:<\/p>\n

…I called my local PP and asked about prenatal care. They do not provide it, but they offered to make me a referral. After two attempts at this referral process, all I got were more agencies (not providers) who said they could refer me to a doctor based on my insurance (or give me the phone number of my local Medicaid office if I didn\u2019t have insurance \u2014 not super helpful). Suffice to say, PP gave me nothing but more government-funded middlemen to help me in my search for affordable prenatal care. …<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood\u2019s claim to make referrals for prenatal care turned out to only be a referral for a referral \u2014 they couldn\u2019t actually help me find a doctor. The CareNet pregnancy resource center offered to help me get insurance if I didn\u2019t have it, and had a list of doctors on hand to cut out as many middlemen as possible. This lack of options on Planned Parenthood\u2019s part points to the real crisis of women\u2019s healthcare in America today.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
