Americans United for Life has released their 2017 Life List,<\/a> “Based on How Well Women are Protected from Abortion Industry Abuses.” For the second year in a row, Oklahoma was ranked\u00a0the most protective state. Here is the full list<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  3. Louisiana, same as last year, and has been a top state before<\/li>\n
  4. Arkansas, same as last year<\/li>\n
  5. Arizona<\/li>\n

  7. Mississippi<\/li>\n
  8. Georgia<\/li>\n
  9. Michigan<\/li>\n
  10. Pennsylvania<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition to the Life List, AUL also references<\/a> its Women’s Protection Project<\/a> and Infants’ Protection Project<\/a>, where Oklahoma ranks fifth and first, respectively. Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma are the only four states on all three lists, and\u00a0AUL highlighted them\u00a0as “AUL All-Stars.”<\/p>\n

    In June 2016, Oklahoma passed<\/a> a f<\/a>etal education law<\/a>, which ensures that accurate\u00a0embryology is taught in public schools. Students will also understand the facts surrounding\u00a0abortion, which scientifically kills a human being. “Oklahoma continues to enact comprehensive and protective laws and regulations, counting it more important to protect women from a predatory abortion industry which values profits over women\u2019s lives and health,” AUL pointed out.<\/p>\n

    Arizona is noted for how, [with original emphasis], “it has improved its enforcement of existing abortion laws and ensured that abortion facilities are regularly and rigorously inspected.<\/strong> In 2016, Arizona enacted measures to ensure the integrity of taxpayer dollars and to prohibit the use of the broken bodies of aborted babies for experimentation or research.” Live Action News has also highlighted the state’s defunding of Planned Parenthood<\/a> in addition to\u00a02016 Arizona proposals<\/a> to regulate the abortion pill, including requiring abortionists to inform patients about abortion pill reversal. in addition to the state’s defunding of Planned Parenthood<\/a>.
