The tote, which is available for preorder, costs $15. All proceeds are said to be donated to Planned Parenthood and through 12\/31\/17 each donation would be matched, giving Planned Parenthood\u00a0double the money.<\/p>\n<p>The fundraising tote, with images and links shared by Facebook pages including &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PlannedParenthood\/\">Rock the Slut Vote<\/a>,&#8221; was created by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerandlightpress.bigcartel.com\/product\/stand-with-planned-parenthood-tote-bag\">Power and Light Press<\/a>, and so far has raised at least $20,000 for the abortion giant. But the tote is overflowing with lies and misleading information &#8212; so much so, that there has already been an edit to information on the tote: the misconception that Planned Parenthood offers mammograms.<\/p>\n<p>The tote reads: I went to Planned Parenthood and all I got was a mammogram, a PAP smear, Physical Exam, STD testing and treatment, information and counseling about my sexual and reproductive health, cancer screenings, a pregnancy test, prenatal services, and access to affordable birth control.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 658px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-version=\"7\">\n<div style=\"padding: 8px;\">\n<div style=\"background: #F8F8F8; line-height: 0; margin-top: 40px; padding: 50.0% 0; text-align: center; width: 100%;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"margin: 8px 0 0 0; padding: 0 4px;\"><a style=\"color: #000; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 17px; text-decoration: none; word-wrap: break-word;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BOsjjYBj5ra\/\" target=\"_blank\">You guys are amazing, and the last 48 hours have been insane. Despite the fact that she admitted to this and Live Action proved Planned Parenthood doesn&#8217;t offer mammograms with its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/mammogram-falsehoods\/\">Mammosham investigation<\/a>, much of the pro-abortion population of the United States still believes that the organization provides mammograms. They don&#8217;t, and Power and Light Press had to own up to this by altering the tote to read: &#8220;a breast exam&#8221; instead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aq0kBkUZbvQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-71103\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/adf_pp_UScoverage_20150814_b-1-663x1024-194x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/adf_pp_UScoverage_20150814_b-1-663x1024-194x300.jpg 194w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/adf_pp_UScoverage_20150814_b-1-663x1024-453x700.jpg 453w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/adf_pp_UScoverage_20150814_b-1-663x1024.jpg 663w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Next, while Planned Parenthood does offer PAP smears, it\u00a0provides\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/learn\/3percent\/#numbers\">less than 1 percent<\/a> of the PAP smears in the entire country, performing just 271,539 PAP tests in fiscal year 2014-15 out of 28.1 million tests nationwide. Where else are women going, if not to Planned Parenthood, for their PAP smears? They can go to their primary care doctors, their OB\/GYNs, or one of the <a href=\"\/news\/if-planned-parenthood-loses-funding-heres-a-map-of-health-clinics-that-could-take-its-place\/\">13,540 health centers<\/a> in the country providing\u00a0comprehensive care to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nachc.com\/about-our-health-centers.cfm\">millions<\/a> of uninsured, working poor and out of work Americans. Compare that to just 665 Planned Parenthood locations nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Physical exams can be received at primary care providers, but if a woman is without a primary care doctor or health insurance, she can head to one of the 13,540 health clinics. There is likely to be one much closer to her than a Planned Parenthood location.<\/p>\n<p>The same goes for STD testing.<\/p>\n<p>As for\u00a0counseling about sexual and reproductive health, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s practices in these matters are not only lacking accuracy\u00a0but are also concerning and <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/disturbing-advice-on-sex\/\">even dangerous<\/a>. Not only are teens told that sex with no strings attached with anyone at any time is safe, but Planned Parenthood counselors\u00a0have been caught advising undercover investigators &#8211; whom Planned Parenthood counselors believed to be underage &#8211; how to illegally shop at sex stores and how to participate in violent sex. In addition, the organization&#8217;s\u00a0counselors have been caught <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/child-sex-trafficking-cover-up\/\">aiding child sex traffickers<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklystandard.com\/complaint-filed-against-colorado-planned-parenthood-for-covering-up-rape\/article\/1000978\">covering up rape<\/a>.\u00a0They have been sued for providing abortion to underage girls who were brought to Planned Parenthood by their sexual abusers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/u7oeSAOZwdk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Breast exams for cancer screening do happen\u00a0at Planned Parenthood; however,\u00a0Planned Parenthood only performed <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/learn\/3percent\/#numbers\">1.8 percent of all\u00a0clinical breast exams<\/a> that took place in fiscal year 2014-15. In total, they provided just 363,803 out of 20 million exams nationwide. Women without health insurance can, again, visit one of the 13,540 clinics throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>If a woman is in need of a pregnancy test, Planned Parenthood is the last place she should go. Planned Parenthood\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/epicpew.com\/10-facts-planned-parenthood-doesnt-want-you-to-know\/\">charges over $30<\/a> for a pregnancy test that costs them\u00a025 cents, while pregnancy help centers offer them\u00a0for free. And if a pregnancy\u00a0test is positive, those pregnancy help centers will help women figure out what they are going to do by setting them up with a doctor and even providing baby gear, housing, and education opportunities so women can keep their children and pursue their dreams without the struggle &#8212; assistance Planned Parenthood just won&#8217;t provide.<\/p>\n<p>As far as prenatal services go, Planned Parenthood is not a reliable organization\u00a0to turn to. Overall, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aul.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Abortion-Inc.pdf\">abortion to adoption ratio<\/a> is 201 to 1, and its\u00a0overall prenatal services have been cut in half since 2009. In fact, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s prenatal services\/clients have dropped about 70 percent under the guidance of CEO Cecile Richards. Pregnancy help centers, on the other hand, will refer women to doctors and ensure they receive care.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, affordable birth control is definitely available at Planned Parenthood\u00a0locations. However, it is also available at one of the thousands of health care clinics in the country. In fact,\u00a0Kelsey Hazzard, president of Secular Pro-Life, spoke about the dangers of a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.secularprolife.org\/2016\/09\/proposed-hhs-rule-would-create-pp.html?m=1\">Planned Parenthood monopoly on family planning<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>With so many more locations, [Federally Qualified Health Centers] and health departments are in a better position to help a greater number of people access contraception. But they\u2019ve barely gotten an opportunity to show it, because Planned Parenthood has historically gotten the money, and keeps suing to claim entitlement to FQHC and health department family planning funds.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Planned Parenthood has been <a href=\"\/news\/100-abuses-planned-parenthood\/\">pulling the wool over<\/a> America&#8217;s eyes for decades, and this tote just proves that it is still happening. Abortion makes up <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-receives-1-5-million-a-day-in-taxpayer-funding\/\">94 percent of Planned Parenthood&#8217;s services to pregnant women<\/a>; everything else is just part of the image the organization hides behind &#8212; which is that they care about women and they want us to believe they are the only health clinic that exists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A recent fundraiser for Planned Parenthood has been shared across social media networks.
