However, although Planned Parenthood tells the American public it is the leading women&#8217;s health provider, two Planned Parenthood managers are exposing the corporation&#8217;s true focus: abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action interviewed former Planned Parenthood center managers Ramona Trevi\u00f1o and Sue Thayer, who talked about how disillusioned they were when they worked at Planned Parenthood and found out that most centers didn\u2019t offer OB\/GYN, prenatal, and other basic health care services to women. The abortion giant offered little to pregnant women because \u201cthey made their money if somebody had an abortion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZDHyy9yCerg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;We had nothing to offer these women,&#8221; Trevi\u00f1o said when asked which services Planned Parenthood offered\u00a0pregnant women who wanted to keep their babies. &#8220;For example: prenatal care. There was no prenatal care. There was nothing that we could offer women who were pregnant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Trevi\u00f1o describes how\u00a0Planned Parenthood was unable to diagnose women with health issues who came to the abortion giant looking for help, and she had to turn them away because there were no services, ultrasound technicians (with the exception of ultrasound machines used for abortions), or gynecologists available. Trevi\u00f1o\u00a0says through her tenure\u00a0at Planned Parenthood, she realized\u00a0that the only &#8220;service&#8221;\u00a0pregnant women could truly receive at their facilities was\u00a0abortion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;You go in with the perception that Planned Parenthood is there to help women in any situation, not just when they&#8217;re wanting an abortion,&#8221; Trevi\u00f1o said.\u00a0&#8220;Everything is limited to contraception and abortion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In a second video, the two former managers reveal that the quality of care at the facilities was extremely poor. In fact, Trevino said she felt that Planned Parenthood\u00a0&#8220;treated women like cattle,&#8221; rushing them in and out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0PUFJwiHlJM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thayer, who echoed the sentiment, said women were &#8220;herded&#8221; through abortion centers. She\u00a0confirmed that when women seeking health services\u00a0(such as those who had\u00a0a breast lump or abnormal pap smear) would visit Planned Parenthood, they were turned away. In fact, the abortion chain had no services for\u00a0pregnant women who wanted\u00a0to keep their babies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;The\u00a0reason why adoption or prenatal care weren&#8217;t hit hard is because there&#8217;s no money in that,&#8221; Thayer said. &#8220;They\u00a0made their money if someone had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood facility.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Although Planned Parenthood claims to serve women, its own numbers show that its bread and butter is abortion. Every year, it commits over 320,000 abortions, or over 34 percent of abortions in America. In contrast, it offers only less than 2 percent of the nation&#8217;s pap tests and breast exams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Trevino and Thayer are shedding light on the meager health services Planned Parenthood\u00a0provides\u00a0and combating\u00a0the false narrative that millions of women will\u00a0lose\u00a0access to health care if Planned Parenthood were defunded or replaced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Planned Parenthood claims that millions of women depend on it for health care, touting its cancer screenings, prenatal care, STI testing, and other essential health-related services.
