According to Chen, Nathan threatened to break up with her if she did not abort the baby, and Mark told her she &#8220;shouldn\u2019t bring a child into the world that nobody wants.&#8221; When Chen refused to abort, Mark&#8217;s wife Marilou reportedly told her in an email, &#8220;Meagan, you blew it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, since that time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/this-is-the-baby-that-luke-skywalkers-actor-wanted-dead\">LifeSiteNews<\/a> reports that the baby has been born, and she is doing well. Maegan named her daughter Autumn.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HcxhienCnGk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Earlier this year, Chen told her story in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/la-model-pressured-to-have-abortion-by-hamill-family-of-star-wars-fame\">interview<\/a> with LifeSiteNews. In the interview, Chen claimed that Nathan continued to pressure her to abort baby Autumn even after she refused. Part of the reason Chen refused the abortion is that she had\u00a0been through\u00a0an abortion before, and says it left her feeling &#8220;suicidal and depressed for a long time afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chen is not alone in her abortion regret, as <a href=\"\/news\/cnn-special-report-features-hundreds-of-women-who-regret-their-abortions\/\">many women<\/a> <a href=\"\/news\/meet-6-women-who-regret-their-abortions\/\">report<\/a> facing <a href=\"\/news\/jade-rees-not-only-woman-commit-suicide-after-abortion\/\">suicidal thoughts<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/afterabortion.org\/post-abortion-review-index\/\">depression<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/afterabortion.org\">heartbreaking results<\/a> after an abortion. Lori Nerad <a href=\"\/news\/8-heartbreaking-quotes-from-post-abortive-women\/\">spoke<\/a> of her own experience: &#8220;I still have nightmares in which I am forced to watch my baby being ripped\u00a0apart in front of me. I simply miss my baby. I constantly wake up wanting to nurse my child, wanting to hold my child. And that\u2019s something the doctor never told me I would experience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Women like Nerad and Chen are beginning to realize that speaking out about their abortions may help other women who are considering what to do in their own pregnancies. Another woman, <a href=\"\/news\/video-woman-shares-abortion-regret-in-effort-to-help-others\/\">Megan Rhoades<\/a>, explained that &#8220;while abortion is marketed as a quick fix, as a &#8216;right,&#8217; as a perfectly acceptable &#8216;choice,&#8217; it has <a href=\"\/news\/6-things-post-abortive-women-need\/\">very real consequences<\/a> that go beyond the loss of the life of a child (which is huge).&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"ArticleAd1\">\n<p><!-- \/1011927\/LAN_300_by_250_top_article --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0\" class=\"ArticleAd1a\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Despite Chen&#8217;s wishes not to abort,\u00a0she\u00a0says that\u00a0after facing continued pressure from the Hamills, she gave in and agreed to an abortion. LifeSiteNews reports that a surgical abortion was scheduled, but\u00a0communication issues\u00a0prevented the procedure. Chen said she then chose a medical abortion, and took the abortion pill. Later, she learned that the abortion had failed; her\u00a0baby was still alive. (Incidentally, medical abortions can fail, and they can also <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\">be reversed<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Chen claimed that, following this incident,\u00a0pressure to abort\u00a0from the Hamills persisted, but this time, she held firm in her refusal. Chen said that when she suggested adoption as an alternative to abortion, Nathan called the suggestion &#8220;selfish.&#8221; Mark and Marilou allegedly continued trying to persuade her as well, telling her that getting an abortion was the best option.<\/p>\n<p>In her interview with LifeSiteNews, Chen shared some advice for pregnant women in similar situations. &#8220;I would recommend them being honest with the doctors in the back about what&#8217;s really going on.\u201d &#8220;Abortion will never be for me,&#8221; she continued,\u00a0&#8220;as I found out when I went through the first surgical one that I had.
