Robyn McLean was brutally abused and raped by her fiance. Her son AJ was conceived in\u00a0rape, but McLean decided against abortion. In a Life News\u00a0article<\/a>,\u00a0she talks about how much she loves her son:<\/p>\n

Society says, \u201cWho wants this child?\u201d, \u201cWho wants these memories?\u201d, \u201cDo you realize whose kid I\u2019d be keeping?!\u201d, \u201cI don\u2019t want that tied to me!\u201d Even Christians have said these things and yet many have loved and wanted AJ; they can\u2019t help but be drawn to him!<\/p>\n

There are those who think abortion is okay, that absolutely adore AJ, and cannot imagine me not having him regardless of how he was conceived. He captures people\u2019s hearts in special ways, and his biological origins or how it happened don\u2019t even matter. Pro-life and pro-choice people alike, who know me and who know him, would be horrified if I said about him what people say about the unborn babies. They know that my son is someone of great worth\u2026.<\/p>\n

When I look at my son, I see him. I feel the same love that any mother does. I don\u2019t see the memories or the pain. I don\u2019t feel regret or hurt. I feel freedom, and I feel blessed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Not all sexual assault victims choose to abort their children. And many of those who give birth are later happy they did so. \u00a0Many see the worth of their children, who are precious human beings regardless of how they are conceived.
