Many in the mainstream media are voicing their disapproval with several of President-elect Donald Trumps’s cabinet picks. One in particular, Dr. Tom Price (R-GA), Trump’s choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, has been met with scrutiny<\/a> due to his 100 percent pro-life rating from National Right to Life, among other things.<\/p>\n

According to Newsbusters<\/a>, CNN political commentator Angela Rye condemned Price for his\u00a0“vote to defund Planned Parenthood” in a panel discussion on the network. In response, Trump supporter Steve Cortes replied:<\/p>\n

[W]hen you talk, by the way, about defunding Planned Parenthood as being scary, what I think is scary is the fact that the taxpayers pay for an organization which a great many Americans find reprehensible and that sells baby parts and that was a major part of our campaign, by the way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Outrage ensued. One panel member responded, “Wow. Come on, Steve.” But Rye’s comment took the cake: “That’s not true. That\u2019s been debunked,” she claimed.<\/p>\n
