‘True Compassion’: CNN Recognizes Humanity of Pre-Born Baby in Remee Lee Case<\/b><\/p>\n

Statement from Live Action President Lila Rose:<\/p>\n

Remee Lee’s boyfriend killed her baby by slipping her an abortifacient.\u00a0 This is a terrible tragedy \u2013 and I commend CNN for treating the story with the compassion it deserves, by recognizing this precious, voiceless victim as a “baby.”<\/p>\n

I can only hope that CNN will maintain momentum in this regard.\u00a0 Abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s many victims have yet to receive a decent, dignified burial; maybe CNN will change course now, and refer to these victims as babies, too.\u00a0 After all, it’s a strange stylebook that demands “baby” for wanted children in the womb and “fetus” for unwanted ones \u2013 and a morally warped worldview that would accept such a guideline.<\/p>\n

People of conscience \u2013 not to mention people versed in the basics of human biology \u2013 reject “wantedness” as a determiner of humanity.\u00a0 Remee Lee’s child was a priceless, defenseless human being.\u00a0 A baby.\u00a0 So were Gosnell’s victims.\u00a0 And so is every unborn victim killed by the abortionist’s tools or by a cruel drug.<\/p>\n

CNN showed true compassion in covering the tragic story of Remee Lee and her baby.\u00a0 May we see more of this compassion, consistently.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
