The statement doesn&#8217;t appear too extraordinary until you refer to the byline. The piece was penned by Francie Hunt, the executive director of Tennessee Advocates for Planned Parenthood, a political arm of Planned Parenthood that stumps for pro-abortion candidates in the state.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ArticleAd1\">\n<p><!-- \/1011927\/LAN_300_by_250_top_article --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0\" class=\"ArticleAd1a\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>We hardly need to delineate the irony underpinning Hunt&#8217;s statement. The day Planned Parenthood starts loving, caring for, and\u00a0wanting the wellbeing of children instead of <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\/\">brutally dismembering<\/a> them and <a href=\"\/news\/five-things-we-learned-about-planned-parenthood-from-the-baby-parts-videos\/\">selling their\u00a0emaciated remains<\/a> is the day Planned Parenthood will go out of business. Indeed, without its <em>unscrupulous\u00a0<\/em><em>utilization of children for profit<\/em>, Planned Parenthood ceases to be Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s not just preborn children Planned Parenthood betrays; Live Action investigations have repeatedly caught the abortion biz <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-florida-infanticide-decisions-between-a-woman-and-her-physician\/\">defending infanticide<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/child-sex-trafficking-cover-up\/\">aiding their abusers<\/a>, and advising them to <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/disturbing-advice-on-sex\/\">engage in harmful and potentially deadly behaviors<\/a>.\u00a0In this Live Action undercover <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/child-sex-trafficking-cover-up\/\">investigative video<\/a>, for example, an employee of a Bronx, New York, Planned Parenthood tells a man posing as a pimp that &#8220;everything is totally confidential.&#8221; Planned Parenthood is supposed to report instances of sexual abuse, but in multiple cases has\u00a0aided and abetted it instead:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XCWf1MB92Pw?list=PL3140AE82A4C8FB96\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But Planned Parenthood advocate Hunt, who was, not surprisingly, disappointed by the election results, bills herself as an advocate &#8220;for children.&#8221;\u00a0To entertain the idea that Planned Parenthood and its allies care about\u00a0children is misguided at best, and at worst, is\u00a0a symptom of the organization&#8217;s systematic use of deception to cloud their profit-obsessed business model and inhuman practices.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s almost as if Hunt does not hear her own self-contradiction when she speaks. &#8220;It is my tremendous honor to serve as executive director of Tennessee Advocates for Planned Parenthood,&#8221; she told <em>The Tennessean.<\/em>\u00a0&#8220;Advocating for children for most of my career is a natural, deep connection to this current work to ensure that decisions regarding pregnancy, family planning, health care access, and comprehensive sexuality education are taken seriously and with respect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To break that down, Hunt believes that defending the so-called right to kill a child in abortion somehow serves as &#8220;advocating for children.&#8221; I have a suggestion for Hunt: if Planned Parenthood really wants to advocate for children, a good place to start would be to stop killing, dismembering, selling, lying to, abusing, and betraying them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Every child should be wanted, cared for and loved.&#8221;\u00a0 This is a statement that appeared in\u00a0The Tennessean, a publication of the USA Today Network,\u00a0on November 22.
