It’s no secret that Planned Parenthood desired\u00a0a Clinton victory to ensure its continued federal funding. It’s also no secret that Planned Parenthood feared the worst<\/a> for its abortion\u00a0business should Clinton lose.<\/p>\n

From its\u00a0unprecedented endorsement of Clinton in the Democratic primary, to its\u00a0campaign to portray Trump and Pence as anti-women’s rights, America’s largest abortion provider rested its\u00a0hopes on a victory which nearly all experts predicted – many with\u00a0high confidence –\u00a0would happen. As we have all learned over the past few hours, they were wrong.<\/p>\n

As Live Action News’ Rebecca Downs\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0in May of this year, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards told ThinkProgress that her organization “plan[ned]\u00a0to spend\u00a0at\u00a0least\u00a0<\/em>$20 million to help win key Senate races and the presidency this November.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now the election is over. Republicans held on to both the House and Senate, and President-elect Donald Trump, as well as Hillary Clinton, are now urging the nation to unite as one people. So how did Planned Parenthood respond to its\u00a0favored presidential candidate’s resounding defeat? See for yourself:<\/p>\n

The tweet links to a page with the headline, “Donate to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund Today.” But\u00a0Planned Parenthood’s statement is clearly a manipulation of the facts. Trump and Pence have indicated intent to\u00a0block a corrupt organization’s access to federal funding and to protect preborn lives from being destroyed — and apparently Planned Parenthood equates this to “blocking patients’\u00a0access to care.” Didn’t they get the memo (i.e. the election results) that the people aren’t\u00a0buying their pro-abortion political-speak?<\/p>\n

In addition to imploring supporters for cash, Planned Parenthood also tweeted this following the election:<\/p>\n

I didn’t realize that speaking against the nation’s largest and most profitable killer of preborn children amounted to “hate” and “threats,” but let’s move on. Not surprisingly, Planned Parenthood is “angry, shocked, and disgusted” when America doesn’t buy into their pro-abortion election agenda, but doesn’t seem to have any empathy for the millions of Americans who feel angry, shocked, and disgusted at Planned Parenthood’s violent destruction of preborn life for payment, or that Planned Parenthood officials have allegedly engaged in unethical practices related to the illegal sale of fetal body parts<\/a>, or the ridiculously (and terrifyingly) high number of patients some Planned Parenthood facilities have hospitalized<\/a>, or the multiple\u00a0times the abortion giant has been caught engaging in fraud<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But yeah, more money. That’s what it’s all about. Or is it? In the end, will money be able to save a corrupt organization\u00a0which profits\u00a0from death? The surprising results of the election may indicate otherwise.<\/p>\n
