This wasn&#8217;t necessarily a surprise. What was a little surprising, however, was the cartoon image she tweeted&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Who&#39;s ready to elect the first woman president today??? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ImWitHer?src=hash\">#ImWitHer<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ElectionDay?src=hash\">#ElectionDay<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pcdnqeB71c\">pic.twitter.com\/pcdnqeB71c<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Wendy Davis (@wendydavis) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wendydavis\/status\/795983752711303168\">November 8, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Yes, that&#8217;s right.\u00a0Featured on cartoon Hillary Clinton&#8217;s shirt is a bright pink uterus and ovaries.<\/p>\n<p>In case you&#8217;ve forgotten, Wendy Davis&#8217;s great claim to fame is the fact that she stood for hours on the floor of the Texas Senate (in her pink running shoes) to protest a 20-week abortion ban. Live Action&#8217;s Cassy Fiano <a href=\"\/news\/wendy-davis-is-planned-parenthoods-conscience-not-americas\/\">reminds \u00a0us<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Let\u2019s reiterate how Wendy Davis found herself in this position. She filibustered a bill for 11 hours that the majority of Texans supported. The support Davis got for her filibuster came largely from outside Texas, provided by president of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards and the pro-abortion lobby&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>She stood for\u00a0<em>11 hours<\/em>, went so far as to even wear a catheter, in order to keep late-term abortion legal and to prevent abortion clinics from being held to the same standards that virtually every other doctor\u2019s office is held to.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So what message was Davis sending with her tweet on Election Day? Was she saying that women should vote with their reproductive organs, or that they should vote for her preferred candidate because she has certain reproductive organs? I&#8217;m not really sure.\u00a0(I&#8217;m wondering what the reaction would be if someone tweeted out male reproductive organs as a reason to vote for someone&#8230; but I digress.)<\/p>\n<p>Wendy Davis and her abortion supporting friends\u00a0often use the &#8220;reproductive organs&#8221; tactic to claim that unless you&#8217;re a woman, <a href=\"\/news\/if-you-dont-have-a-uterus-zip-it\/\">you have no right to an opinion on abortion<\/a>. That is, unless you&#8217;re a <a href=\"\/news\/living-bro-choice-it-just-doesnt-add-up\/\">&#8220;bro-choicer&#8221;<\/a> who believes women should be able to abort any time, for any reason. Those kinds of men are apparently\u00a0allowed to have an opinion on abortion.<\/p>\n<p>What Davis and friends don&#8217;t like to discuss is the fact that since <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> passed in 1973, more than 58\u00a0million children have been aborted in the name of &#8220;women&#8217;s choice,&#8221; and at least half of those were likely\u00a0females. Those little females each had a <a href=\"\/news\/plundering-the-ovaries-of-dead-baby-girls-sciences-latest-breakthrough\/\">uterus and ovaries<\/a>, too\u00a0&#8212; only they couldn&#8217;t decide whether\u00a0to vote based on\u00a0their reproductive organs, because they\u00a0never made it out of the womb alive. Someone else decided that they didn&#8217;t get to make a single choice in life. Their voices will\u00a0never be heard, and their votes will never be counted. Many of those\u00a0little females ended up either suctioned down a tube or in pieces:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Wendy Davis&#8217;s allies\u00a0at Planned Parenthood have not only killed potentially millions of these little females, they&#8217;ve harmed their mothers, too. They&#8217;ve <a href=\"https:\/\/liveaction.org\/rosaacuna\/\">lied to them<\/a> about abortion and fetal development, they&#8217;ve <a href=\"https:\/\/liveaction.org\/monalisa\/\">covered up sexual abuse<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/liveaction.org\/traffick\/\"> aided sex traffickers<\/a>, they&#8217;ve <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-has-history-of-coercing-women-to-abort\/\">coerced women<\/a> into aborting, they&#8217;ve <a href=\"\/news\/does-planned-parenthood-help-rape-victims-or-their-rapists\/\">failed to report rape<\/a>, and they&#8217;ve been <a href=\"\/news\/the-abortion-industry-is-waging-the-real-war-on-women\/\">more than willing to abort baby girls<\/a> or boys just for <a href=\"http:\/\/protectourgirls.com\/videos\/\">being\u00a0the &#8220;wrong&#8221; sex<\/a>. Davis&#8217;s friends at NARAL are also <a href=\"\/news\/narals-ilyse-hogue-does-not-want-women-to-have-all-the-facts\/\">less than supportive<\/a> of women having access to all pertinent information before\u00a0deciding on having\u00a0an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>But perhaps Davis is in denial about all of this. After all, she once <a href=\"\/news\/wendy-davis-planned-parenthood-fundraiser-abortion-7-pound-babies-never-happens\/\">denied<\/a> that late-term, third trimester abortions even happen in America (which was debunked <a href=\"\/news\/third-trimester-abortion-in-america\/\">here<\/a>), and claimed that pro-life women find <a href=\"\/news\/late-term-abortion-needs-to-end-in-america\/\">late-term abortion<\/a> distasteful because they <a href=\"\/news\/wendy-davis-women-dont-support-late-term-abortion-because-theyre-too-dumb-to-understand-it\/\">&#8220;don&#8217;t really understand&#8221;<\/a> it.<\/p>\n<p>Davis is, of course, wrong. Pro-life women oppose abortion in all forms because we know full well that abortion takes the life of a distinct human being with her own DNA &#8212; with her <em>own body<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We understand what abortion does. We know that protecting women is vital.
