(Texas Right to Life<\/a>)\u00a0Should whether or not a baby is \u201cwanted\u201d before he or she is conceived determine his or her Right to Life?\u00a0 This is the position of the\u00a0abortion industry<\/a>, which markets elective abortion on-demand to thousands of American mothers every single day.\u00a0Every child a wanted child<\/em>, they say, leaving out the fact that the so-called \u201cunwanted\u201d child becomes collateral damage of a discriminatory mindset in which the will of bigger, stronger people takes paramountcy to the fundamental human rights of smaller, defenseless people.<\/p>\n

First, the idea that there are children who are\u00a0un<\/strong>wanted is a lie propagated by anti-Life zealots to promote a framework in which abortion is seen as not just a choice, but a necessity and a good.\u00a0 In New York City, for example, parents facing unexpected pregnancies in 2013 faced a barrage of state-funded abortion propaganda:<\/p>\n

Make no mistake: this kind of fear-mongering toward parents in need of support and empowerment is a form of unjust coercion into abortion \u2013 all at the service of death.\u00a0 This is Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger\u2019s\u00a0dream come true<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Indeed, the position that a child\u2019s life can legally and acceptably be destroyed because human beings who are physically more powerful than the child\u00a0can\u00a0<\/em>end his life is a horrifying reflection of where we as a society stand on the scale of civilized to draconian.\u00a0 The horror is further compounded when we consider the methods used to by these bigger, stronger people to obliterate the lives of the children who can do nothing to defend themselves, but have received a death sentence simply for being discriminatorily labeled \u201cunwanted\u201d:<\/p>\n

Vacuum aspiration<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Dismemberment<\/em><\/a>. Infanticide<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

If a child is \u201cwanted,\u201d however, a host of legal protections are in place.\u00a0 The father of the child is legally bound to\u00a0support<\/a>\u00a0him or her.\u00a0 Pharmaceutical companies must\u00a0warn pregnant women<\/a>\u00a0of potential dangers their products can have on a developing child\u00a0in utero<\/em>.\u00a0 Babies undergoing prenatal surgery receive\u00a0anesthesia<\/a>\u00a0so that they do not feel the excruciating pain of being cut.<\/p>\n

Last year, Pro-Life Senator Marco Rubio pointed to the debasement of civilization effected by the American abortion culture.\u00a0 \u201c[F]uture generations will look back at this time in history,\u201d\u00a0said Rubio<\/a>, \u201cand say it\u2019s really unbelievable that so many unborn human beings, their lives were ended, simply because they didn\u2019t have a birth certificate, couldn\u2019t hire a lawyer, didn\u2019t vote, or we couldn\u2019t see them yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
