He&#8217;s wrong."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>John Pavlovitz leads North Raleigh Community Church, and he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/john-pavlovitz\/white-conservative-christian-friends--i-wish-you-really-were-pro-life_b_12475464.html\">has a message<\/a> for his conservative friends: \u201cI actually don\u2019t believe you\u2019re pro-life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why question their convictions? According to a Huffington Post article the pastor wrote, it\u2019s because they support Donald Trump and oppose left-wing politics. Pavlovitz also feels they focus on abortion out of concern for \u201cstraight, white, Christian fetuses\u201d while ignoring victims of sexual assault, racism, domestic violence, and human trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>In his view, this means they&#8217;re merely \u201canti-abortion, which is a far more selective and convenient defense of Humanity.\u201d Further, he doubts anyone celebrates \u201cwhen a woman terminates a pregnancy.\u201d If that\u2019s what he thinks, he\u2019s in for a surprise.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ArticleAd1\">\n<p><!-- \/1011927\/LAN_300_by_250_top_article --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0\" class=\"ArticleAd1a\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Leaving aside the \u201c<a href=\"\/news\/shoutyourabortion-push-shows-planned-parenthood-is-all-about-abortion-first\/\">shout your abortion campaign<\/a>,\u201d there <i>are<\/i> those who see abortion as something to celebrate, which is understandable. After all, many of them prey on the victims listed above.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion makes it easier.<\/p>\n<p>To stay out of jail, sexual predators need to keep their crimes hidden. That\u2019s why Gary Cross had a problem when his wife noticed her daughter was gaining weight; he knew it was because he\u2019d gotten the 13 year-old pregnant. In response, Cross brought her to Planned Parenthood, America\u2019s<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2015\/jan\/1\/planned-parenthood-327k-abortions-fiscal-2014\/\"> largest abortion chain<\/a>. She was well below the age of consent but staff didn\u2019t contact authorities. Instead, they arranged an abortion <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\">at 20 weeks<\/a>. Here\u2019s what that involved:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With the evidence gone, Cross continued raping her for over a year. He wasn\u2019t the only child rapist to to receive help from Planned Parenthood: the victims of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adfmedia.org\/files\/RamirezCalifCourtOfAppealsOpinion.pdf\">Edgar Ramirez<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.lifenews.com\/state3469.html\">Gary Cross<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/seattle.cbslocal.com\/2013\/05\/20\/man-rapes-preteen-girl-forces-her-to-get-abortion-at-planned-parenthood\/\">Luis Gonzalez-Jose<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adfmedia.org\/files\/KingSentencingStatement.pdf\">Andrew King<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adfmedia.org\/files\/RoeOpinion.pdf\">John Haller<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/connecticut\/articles\/2007\/08\/02\/charges_added_in_alleged_abduction\/?camp=pm\">Adam Gault<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/california-pedophile-used-planned-parenthood-abortion-to-cover-rape\/\">Grey David Woods<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2007\/05\/10\/state-2279\/\">John Blanks, Jr<\/a>., and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2015\/jul\/29\/planned-parenthood-failed-to-report-13-year-old-gi\/\">Timothy Smith<\/a> got cover-up abortions too. During a lawsuit filed by Timothy Smith\u2019s victim, a Planned Parenthood staffer admitted that \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adfmedia.org\/files\/SiskSkarvanTranscriptPages.pdf\">being thirteen and pregnant alone is not a red flag<\/a>\u201d there.<\/p>\n<p>And there are other victims the abortion industry turns a blind eye to. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.annalsofhealthlaw.com\/annalsofhealthlaw\/vol_23_issue_1?pg=69#pg69\">A survey<\/a> of trafficking survivors published in <i>Annals of Health<\/i> showed over half had at least one abortion; some were in double digits. Helping them doesn\u2019t seem to be a priority: one victim reported, \u201cNo one ever asked me anything anytime I ever went to a clinic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t always help when they do: Live Action investigators caught a Planned Parenthood clinic director offering to arrange abortions on child prostitutes who \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=riX50sOhAyk\">can\u2019t speak English<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uj2XeLPRjns\">won\u2019t know what\u2019s going on<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L9Zj9yx2j0Y\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s not just rapists and human traffickers who find abortion helpful; so do men looking to avoid child support. They <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mccl.org\/forced-abortion.html\">often pressure<\/a> women to abort and can get violent when that pressure is resisted. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apnewsarchive.com\/2002\/Pa-Men-Gets-Life-For-Firebombings\/id-154f7d5446a665b04600c8d1c231ae7a\">Joseph Minerd<\/a> did, firebombing his pregnant ex-girlfriend\u2019s house when she decided to keep her baby. The woman died along her 3 year-old daughter. Their fate wasn\u2019t unique: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/parents-north-carolina-teen-murdered-by-boyfriend-over-abortion\">Hawa Gabbidon<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2338710\/Man-begged-friend-kill-girlfriend-refused-abortion.html#ixzz3DASvi9eZ\">Shamari Jenkins<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/crime\/maine-man-accused-killing-shaniesha-forbes-thought-pregnant-article-1.1345779\"> Shaniesha Forbes<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canada.com\/cityguides\/toronto\/info\/story.html?id=16c6d45c-7ef1-4068-bd8f-65838bbd9132\">Roxanne Fernando<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/surrey-man-convicted-in-2005-murder-of-pregnant-lover-1.1357452\">Tasha Rossett<\/a> also died for refusing abortion. Cases like this help explain why homicide is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2011\/10\/111020191854.htm\">a leading cause<\/a> of death during pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>Racists also celebrate abortion. Former KKK leader <a href=\"https:\/\/saynsumthn.wordpress.com\/tag\/tom-metzger\/\">Tom Metzger<\/a> calls it \u201cnon-white population control,\u201d telling followers to \u201cinvest in ghetto abortion clinics\u201d and \u201craise money for free abortions.\u201d \u201cWhite nationalist\u201d Jared Taylor backs\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.co.kr\/books?id=LWwIBgAAQBAJ&amp;pg=PA349&amp;lpg=PA349&amp;dq=Jared+Taylor+free+abortion&amp;source=bl&amp;ots=iQB7Ge5poC&amp;sig=Rb3tv9OqQRBHqep5PJHMmtOAW0s&amp;hl=ko&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwivtbC22OrOAhWBmpQKHYueB9YQ6AEIZjAI#v=onepage&amp;q=Jared%20Taylor%20free%20abortion&amp;f=false\">public funding<\/a> for abortion while the alt-right <i>Radix Journal<\/i> derides pro-lifers. Meanwhile, in 2008, Planned Parenthood staff were willing to accept donations from people who said they wanted black children aborted:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pgf5m1QoCOU\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>How\u2019s the abortion industry working to change all of this? It\u2019s not. Planned Parenthood\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2011\/03\/30\/us-arizona-abortion-idUSTRE72T0TH20110330\">opposes legislation<\/a> against race-based and sex-selective abortions. Similarly, it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senate.michigan.gov\/committees\/files\/2014-SCT-JUD_-12-09-1-01.PDF\">stands in the way<\/a> when states <a href=\"\/news\/michigan-governor-snyder-signs-abortion-coercion-bills-into-law\/\">try to protect<\/a> women and girls from violence and abuse. You can contact your elected representatives and demand action in those areas. There\u2019s something else you can do.<\/p>\n<p>You can <a href=\"http:\/\/plannedparenthoodexposed.com\/\">tell Congress<\/a> that Planned Parenthood\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/10\/14\/4-ways-planned-parenthood-has-billed-taxpayers-for-elective-abortions\/\">half billion<\/a> in funding should go to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/getyourcare.org\/\">federally qualified health centers<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/new-website-shows-women-have-more-choices-besides-planned-parenthood-for-low-cost-health-care\/\">community health centers<\/a> instead. They&#8217;re places where people of limited means can get the care they need. They\u2019re also <a href=\"\/news\/if-planned-parenthood-loses-funding-heres-a-map-of-health-clinics-that-could-take-its-place\/\">more accessible<\/a> and offer <a href=\"http:\/\/bphc.hrsa.gov\/uds\/datacenter.aspx?q=tall&amp;year=2014&amp;state\">services<\/a> that Planned Parenthood won\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>John Pavlovitz wishes conservative pro-lifers \u201cactually gave more of a damn\u201d about things like \u201cforced prostitution\u201d or \u201cracism and bigotry.\u201d Then we could be \u201cpartners in that wider affirmation of the living.\u201d \u00a0What Pavlovitz doesn\u2019t understand? That we\u2019ve been fighting those things for years.
