Chances will increase with obesity, genetics, and very possibly <a title=\"Abortion and Breast Cancer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionfacts.com\/online_books\/love_them_both\/why_cant_we_love_them_both_23.asp\" target=\"_blank\">abortion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We see pink everywhere. Pink ribbons, pink Tupperware, even <a title=\"Pink Cuisinart\" href=\"http:\/\/www1.macys.com\/catalog\/product\/index.ognc?ID=251385&amp;PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results\" target=\"_blank\">pink appliances<\/a>. All to raise awareness and money to research for the cure.<\/p>\n<p>The last marketing scheme I\u2019ve seen into is at the supermarket, any of them: Vons, Kroger, Albertsons, to name a few. They will offer extra discounts if you buy some chosen articles from their pantries. Money collected will be sent to research facilities.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Vons Community Care\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vons.com\/ifl\/grocery\/Community-Caring\" target=\"_blank\">Vons<\/a> has especially disappointed me.<\/p>\n<p>First they ask us to support the <a title=\"MDA ALS branch\" href=\"http:\/\/www.als-mda.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">MDA telethon<\/a>.\u00a0 Sadly too late I discover one of the branches, the ALS, supports human <a title=\"MDA ALS Branch Research Grants\" href=\"http:\/\/www.als-mda.org\/research\/grants\/2010Grants.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">embryonic stem cell research<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With breast cancer, they support research centers that also will use embryonic stem cells to find the cure: <a title=\"Stem Cell Research for Cancer Cure UCLA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stemcell.ucla.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">UCLA<\/a>, Fred Hutchinson, Johns Hopkins, the University of California, and Susan G. Komen, amongst some.<\/p>\n<p>OK, so if you don\u2019t think Susan G. Komen belongs with them, check this link: <a title=\"List of Organizations That Support Embryonic Stem Cell Research\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stemcellresearchcures.com\/embryonic-stem-cell-supporters\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.stemcellresearchcures.com\/embryonic-stem-cell-supporters<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Remember this also: Planned Parenthood and Susan G. Komen switch board members, and give each other awards all the time. And even Susan Goodman Komen\u2019s nephew, Eric Brinker, is part owner of a Planned Parenthood facility: <a title=\"Eric Brinker Goodman\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/ppgnw\/files\/Great-Northwest\/PPGNW_2008_Form_990_%28public_disclosure%29.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/plannedparenthood.org\/ppgnw\/files\/Great-Northwest\/PPGNW_2008_Form_990_%28public_disclosure%29.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I truly believe life is valuable from the moment of conception. Not at implantation. Not at delivery of the baby, after the umbilical cord has been severed from the mother. Not when the mother decides it is a life. It is not a philosophical debate, it is a scientific fact that an embryo is a life and is alive even in cryogenic state.<\/p>\n<p>Embryonic stem cell research is the moral equivalent of <a title=\"Young Frankestein\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Young_Frankenstein\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Frederick Frankenstein<\/a> playing God with \u201chis creation\u201d and cannot be defended under the <a title=\"Principle of Double Effect\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Principle_of_double_effect\" target=\"_blank\">Principle of Double-Effect<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The principle of double effects is used to analyze the morality of actions that have two effects, one of them unintended.\u00a0Under this principle, for\u00a0an action to be morally justifiable the action carried out must be a good one. But the destruction of an embryo is never good so the principle cannot be applied<\/p>\n<p>It is simply wrong, and evil to do \u201cresearch\u201d with the tiniest human beings. Even when they are frozen, or in a Petri dish. Just because they cannot defend themselves. Even Theodor Seuss Geisel said it in 1940: &#8220;A person&#8217;s a person, no matter how small&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Still want to go pink?
