Nothing seems to infuriate abortion supporters more than having a face put on that \u201cchoice.\u201d\u00a0 When confronted with the reality<\/a> of abortion survivors – namely, Melissa Ohden<\/a>, who survived a saline abortion in 1977 – pro-choice Planned Parenthood advocates are thrown into a tizzy.<\/p>\n

Melissa Ohden, abortion survivor<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

They are quick to brush aside such an incredible story as Melissa’s<\/a>\u00a0as merely\u00a0a hoax, because they\u2019re forced to realize that in order to defend the so-called right to abortion, they would have to be content in looking at people like Melissa in the face and saying \u201cyou don\u2019t have a right to be alive.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Few of even\u00a0the staunchest of pro-abortion rights advocates would feel so confident.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll deny, justify, and mock Melissa\u2019s survival, all in the name of defending \u201cchoice,\u201d and their putrid arrogance is nothing short of astounding.<\/p>\n

First, Planned Parenthood supporters try to deny Melissa\u2019s surviving a violent attempt on her life. On four separate occasions in the span of an hour, Melissa\u2019s testimony is called \u201cbullsh\u2014.\u201d (If that\u2019s not indicative that these Planned Parenthood supporters are threatened by her story, I don\u2019t know what is.)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They also try to fervently deny Melissa’s story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m more than sure a fetus can\u2019t breathe through its nose and mouth,\u201d<\/em> one pro-abortion rights Planned Parenthood advocate writes.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid they really just say you can breathe in the womb on your own? Lmao<\/em>[,]\u201d another Planned Parenthood advocate agrees.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could make a video about how I survived cancer because I found the cure in my cat\u2019s litter box.\u00a0 Doesn\u2019t make it true,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>writes another Planned Parenthood supporter.\u00a0 (Hey, high five for making fun of an abortion survivor and<\/em> cancer victims in one breath!)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Will someone please throw an embryology textbook at these Planned Parenthood ralliers?\u00a0\u00a0These are weak, futile attempts (from clearly weak-minded people)\u00a0to refute the fact that Melissa breathed saline solution into her lungs while she was in utero during the abortion that intended to end her life.\u00a0 A\u00a0preborn child begins to practice breathing<\/a> eight weeks after conception. \u00a0The child inhales amniotic fluid during a saline abortion.\u00a0 That\u2019s why it\u00a0burns the baby inside and out before he or she is delivered, dead, if the abortion is “successful.”\u00a0Is it too difficult or too inconvenient to do a quick Google search to figure that out?<\/p>\n

The portion of Melissa\u2019s medical records<\/a> (which are readily available and open on her website) explain that a \u201csaline infusion for an abortion was done but unsuccessful[,]\u201d which resulted in her birth.\u00a0 Denying a fact over and over doesn\u2019t make it any less of one.\u00a0 It just makes the deniers look like dense, ignorant fools.<\/p>\n

Second, a Planned Parenthood supporter tries to justify aborting Melissa: \u201cI would just like to point out\u2026 she never mentions WHY her mother decided to abort her.\u00a0 How does she know it wasn\u2019t for a medical reason<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Does it really matter why Melissa was aborted?\u00a0 Clearly, she was viable – how in the world is aborting a viable baby justified, even in the case of a medical emergency?\u00a0 If a pregnancy is life-threatening and must end, how is going in and intentionally killing the baby preferable to or even justified over trying to save the baby, too?<\/p>\n

Third, they make a mockery of Melissa\u2019s survival.<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm. I can watch the ending of the Golden Girls or [Melissa\u2019s] video. Decisions. Decisions. *ponders briefly* Golden Girls!\u201d<\/em> a Planned Parenthood supporter writes.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s maaaaaaaaaaagical<\/em>,\u201d another says.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow this personal story is so irrelevant<\/em>,\u201d another remarks. \u201cThe goal of abortion is merely to remove the fetus if it survived it\u2019s just a bonus<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>What pathetic commentary from a pathetic group of individuals.\u00a0 Resorting to a demeanor of a third-grader throwing insults at someone when he realizes he’s just lost a game.\u00a0 We can’t expect much else from these people, though.<\/p>\n

When pro-abortion rights advocates and Planned Parenthood supporters see the face of the \u201cchoice\u201d they so eagerly defend, they succumb to juvenile, pitiful retorts.\u00a0 Is that at all surprising, though?<\/p>\n

Planned\u00a0Parenthood’s\u00a0advocacy – and its very existence – is telling abortion survivors like Melissa, “You have no right to be alive.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
